2 pkg. (1.0 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Sugar Free Fat Free Instant Pudding
3-3/4 cups cold fat-free milk, divided
33 reduced-fat vanilla wafers
2 bananas, sliced
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping

Steps:

  • Beat pudding mixes and 3-1/2 cups milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. Let stand 5 min.
  • Arrange 11 wafers on bottom and up side of 2-qt. serving bowl; drizzle with 1 Tbsp. of the remaining milk. Add layers of 1/3 each of the bananas and pudding. Repeat layers twice. Cover with COOL WHIP.
  • Refrigerate 3 hours.

2 boxes (4-serving size each) French vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
4 containers (6 oz each) Yoplait® Original yogurt French vanilla
1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip fat-free frozen whipped topping, thawed
48 reduced-fat vanilla wafer cookies
6 small bananas, sliced
Additional banana slices for garnish, if desired

Steps:

  • In large bowl, beat milk and pudding mix with electric mixer on low speed until well mixed; beat in yogurt. Fold in whipped topping.
  • Place 24 vanilla wafers in a single layer in ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish. Spoon half of the pudding mixture over wafers. Place 6 sliced bananas over pudding mixture. Spoon remaining pudding mixture over bananas. Arrange remaining 24 vanilla wafers over top of pudding.
  • Cover; refrigerate at least 3 hours but no longer than 8 hours. Just before serving, garnish with additional banana slices.

This Banana Pudding is so creamy and delicious, you'd never know unless you made it yourself and saw the fat free ingredients!!! I altered a very fattening, but heavenly delicious recipe found on recipezaar as the #1 rated banana pudding (thank you to the poster, because it was heavenly) and when I made it this way, it tastes not a bit different. I even tried it on my skeptical family and they loved it! I have also included the options to make it into my normal "lite, sugar-free" recipe!

1 (11 ounce) box reduced-fat vanilla wafers (You can use regular or reduced fat, which is what I use)
8 -10 bananas, sliced (They should be black on the outside and very soft on the inside)
1 (8 ounce) package fat free cream cheese (or 1/3 less fat, which is what I normally use)
1 (14 ounce) can fat-free sweetened condensed milk (or regular or low fat, which is what I normally use)
1 (5 ounce) sugar free fat free French vanilla pudding and pie filling mix (INSTANT. You may have to use 1 1/2 packages of 3.4 oz if they don't carry the 5oz packages)
2 -3 cups 1% low-fat milk (I normally use the 1%) or 2 -3 cups skim milk (I normally use the 1%)
1 (16 ounce) container fat-free whipped topping (I normally use the lite)

Steps:

  • Line a 9 x 13 glass dish with nilla wafers.
  • Top them with 3/4 the sliced bananas (leave some to mix in the pudding mixture, or you can line them all on top of wafers).
  • In a bowl mix the pudding and milk with a mixer until smooth and creamy, but not too thick, to taste.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and condensed milk with mixer until smooth.
  • Fold whipped topping into pudding mixture.
  • Mix cream cheese mixture into pudding mixture.
  • If you left any bananas, mix them into the final mixture and pour over the bananas in the dish.
  • Refrigerate overnight for best results.

QUICK BANANA PUDDING (SUGAR FREE, LOW FAT)

3 cups nonfat milk (very cold)
3 large bananas, sliced
4 ounces sugar-free vanilla wafers (I use Murray)

Steps:

  • Prepare pudding following instant pudding directions.
  • line glass bowl or casserole dish with waffers and banana slices.
  • pour half of the pudding into the dish.
  • layer waffers.
  • layer banana slices.

4 ounces Cool Whip Free
2 1/2 cups of at least 1% low-fat milk
2 (9 ounce) packages jello sugar-free banana cream pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cut up ripe bananas
16 nabisco reduced-fat vanilla wafers

Steps:

  • Combine the cream cheese and Cool Whip in a mixer. Add the milk and pudding packages. Add the vanilla. If it seems too thick, add more milk until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • Use a round bowl and layer one third of the vanilla wafers on the bottom with a layer of bananas on top. Add the pudding mixture and then repeat the layer. Add the final layer of vanilla wafers to the top of the pudding. Letting it sit for awhile before eating will allow the cookies to soften.

Cooking spray
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
4 ripe bananas, mashed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup buttermilk, well shaken
1 cup chopped pecans
8 ounces milk chocolate chips
1 cup heavy cream

Steps:

  • For the banana bread: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease two 9-by-5-inch loaf pans with cooking spray.
  • With an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the bananas and vanilla. Sift the flour together with the baking soda and salt. Add the flour and buttermilk to the banana mixture, working in stages, and beginning and ending with the flour. Fold in the pecans.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans and bake for 55 minutes. Cool slightly in the pan before turning the loaves out onto wire racks to cool completely.
  • For the chocolate chip sauce: Add the chocolate chips to a heat-proof bowl. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until hot but not boiling. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and stir until chocolate is fully melted. Serve over slices of banana bread.

2 cups Cool Whip Free, thawed

Steps:

  • POUR 3-1/2 cups of the milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. Let stand 5 minutes.

2 packages jello-o fat-free sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix
4 cups skim milk
1 (8 ounce) container reduced fat or 1 (8 ounce) container nonfat sour cream
1 (8 ounce) container cool whip sugar-free whipped topping, thawed
4 -5 firm but ripe bananas
11 ounces box nilla reduced-fat vanilla wafers

Steps:

  • Combine pudding mix and milk in large bowl. Beat or whisk for 2 minutes until thickened. Refrigerate for 5 minutes. Fold sour cream and whipped topping into pudding and set aside. Crumble 6 vanilla wafers into coarse crumbs by hand and set aside for garnish. In a 9x13 dish or deep round bowl, layer vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and pudding mixture until layers run out (about 4 layers), ending with pudding mixture.
