1-3/4 to 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 envelope Fleischmann's® RapidRise® Yeast
1-1/2 tsps sugar
3/4 tsps salt
2/3 cup very warm water ((120° to 130°F))
3 tbsps canola oil
1/3 cup corn meal (for dusting pizza stone)
2 apples (Macintosh or Granny Smith, peeled, cored, diced )
1 tbsp unsalted butter (softened, keep one tablespoon separate)
3 tbsps brown sugar (keep portions separate )
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 tbsps butter (softened)
1/2 cup vanilla frosting

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees f.
  • Add chopped apples, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and butter to a skillet, and cook until apples are tender. It will take about 5 minutes over medium heat. Apples will caramelize in a slightly thick, brown sauce. Once cooked, remove from heat and set aside.
  • Combine one cup of all-purpose flour, Fleischmann's® RapidRise® Yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Whisk until combined, and then add to a stand mixer.
  • Add very warm water, and oil to dry mixture. Turn mixer on medium speed, and using dough hook, start to work the mixture.
  • Slowly add in remaining flour. For this recipe, I did use the full 2 1/4 cups of flour for the perfect consistency.
  • Dough will start to form a ball on the hook and will be slightly sticky.
  • Knead on a floured surface. If dough is too sticky sprinkle additional flour on it and work into the dough.
  • Allow Fleischmann's® RapidRise® Yeast dough to rest for 10 minutes.
  • Once it has rested, sprinkle half the cornmeal on your pizza stone and put it in the oven.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cornmeal on the back of a baking sheet.
  • Stretch and form dough ball into a 12-14" pizza crust; set aside.

5 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Divide dough into four portions. Roll or pat each portion into a 6-inch circle, pinching edges to form a rim. Place on prepared baking sheet.

Steps:

  • Dissolve salt, sugar, and yeast in the warm water and allow the yeast to proof. ("Proofing" the yeast is testing it for viability. It will develop a foam which looks like the head of a beer. If it doesn't proof, the yeast is dead and should be discarded.) Proofing takes about 15 minutes.
  • Place flour in a food processor fitted with a dough blade, and through the feed tube with the food processor running, slowly pour the proofed yeast mixture, until the dough comes together and is a cohesive mass. Transfer the dough to a floured board, and knead for about 5 minutes. Place in a bowl, cover with a clean dish towel and allow dough to rise, so that it roughly doubles in volume. (This will take about 30 minutes to an hour). The dough has risen enough if you make an indentation with your finger and it does not spring back.) Punch the dough down and allow it to rise again. (Allowing the dough to rise a second time gives it a finer texture.) Note: It will not rise as much the second time.
  • While the dough is proofing, begin to prepare the topping. Melt the butter over medium heat in a pan with a lid. Add apples and stir gently to coat with the warm butter. Combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over the apples. Stir in the lemon juice. Cover and cook over low to medium heat for about 40 minutes, or until the apples are cooked through and tender.
  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Stretch the dough out into a 14-inch circle which is thicker around the perimeter. Transfer dough to a pizza stone sprinkled with cornmeal. Top evenly with the cooked apple slices. Since the caramel topping and hazelnut, chocolate sauce are thick and awkward to spread, distribute spoonfuls of them evenly over the surface of the apple slices and the heat from the oven will make them melt onto the surface. Sprinkle with mini-marshmallows and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the dough is nicely browned.

3 tablespoons flour
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 granny smith apples
1 cup lemon juice

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cut roll of cookie dough in half and set 1 half aside for another pizza.

  • Spread on cooled cookie crust.
  • Peel, core, and slice apples into slices. Put apple slices in bowl with 1 cup lemon juice to keep slices from turning brown. Arrange apple slices on cream cheese mixture.
  • Sprinkle pizza lightly with cinnamon.
  • Heat caramel ice cream topping slighly, then drizzle on top of apples on pizza.
  • Sprinkle chopped peanuts over entire pizza.
  • Let set for a few minutes, then cut into pieces.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Steps:

  • Combine all crust ingredients in a mixer and knead for 10 minutes. Place in a large bowl, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow to ferment as long as possible (12 to 24 hours).
  • Punch down dough now and then when you get a chance.
  • Preheat oven to 550 degrees F.
  • Roll the dough as thin as desired. Roll, flour, flip and repeat until you end up with a shape equal to 90% the size of your pan, as it will stretch when you transfer the dough. Place dough on pizza stone or in pan. Brush with vegetable oil and prick with fork. Pre-bake for 3 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and spread with cherry, blueberry or apple pie filling. If you want whole pieces of fruit with a thick topping, you will need 1 whole large can, otherwise you will need to purée half the filling if you want a thinner topping. After you have spread on the filling, you put on the crumb topping. Mix well with a fork or pastry blender. Spoon over pie filling. Use as much as you want of the topping. Put the rest in a zip-type bag in the refrigerator to save. Return pizza to the oven and continue to bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until crust is light golden brown. Remove and drizzle with Vanilla Glaze.
  • Yields one 16-inch dessert pizza.
