4 cups apples, sliced
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
1⁄4 cup butter, unsalted
1⁄2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon

non-stick cooking spray
1 cup oatmeal
4 cups apples, sliced
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
1⁄4 cup butter, unsalted
1⁄2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1⁄4 cup Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend
non-stick cooking spray

Steps:

  • 1.Heat oven to 375°F. 2.Spray bottom and sides of an 8-inch square pan with non-stick cooking spray. 3.In a medium mixing bowl, toss apple slices in lemon juice to coat, then evenly layer the apples into the pan. 4.In a medium bowl, mix all remaining ingredients then sprinkle over apples. 5.Bake for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced with a fork.

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Dash ground ginger
1/4 tsp. fine salt
1 egg white
1 tbsp. water
1 lb. unsalted nuts, such as pecans, walnuts and almonds or a combination

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 225 degrees F. Spray or lightly grease a baking sheet with sides.
  • Whisk together Truvia® natural sweetener, spices and salt and set aside. Whip the egg white and water until foamy and holds a soft peak, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add the nuts and toss to coat completely in whipped egg white. Add the spice mixture and toss to coat completely.
  • Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and spread out into an even layer. Bake 1 hour, until nuts are toasty and crisp, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely. Serve at room temperature.

5 -6 apples, cored and peeled
1 cup oats (quick-cooking or other)
4 tablespoons shortening
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons maple syrup (i really mean maple cream, but it is not recognizing ingredient)
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Place apples in a greased 9x9 pan. Combine oats, shortening, and flour in a bowl. Cut with pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add honey and maple cream. Top apples with oat mixture. Bake until browned and bubbly, 25-35 minutes. Serve warm with a latté, instead of ice cream.
