ANOTHER SMOOTHIE RECIPE
This recipe is really quick & simple. This is a good on the go breakfast that keeps me filled until lunch time.

Steps:
- Put the yogurt & frozen berries into a blender. I like to use Yoplait Light Berries & Cream with mostly frozen strawberries, but I'll put some blueberries and/or raspberries too if I have them in the freezer.
- Begin blending the yogurt & berries.
- Put a little bit of milk in the blender at a time (no need to measure), blending it as you go along, until the smoothie is the texture you like it.
- Pour the drink in a glass & drink it.
- Clean the blender later because you are running late for work! (is that just me?).

ANOTHER " SOMMER" SMOOTHIE
Okay, it's not summertime yet, even where I live in AZ, it's still cool. But I love smoothies and love finding new ways of making them. Because of my IBS I have to use non-dairy products but pureeing and blending of fruit is a bit easier on my digestion (as long as I don't quaff the smoothie on an empty stomach), but you may not need to worry about that *grin^. So I just started throwing things into the blender and please be advised all ingredient amounts are estimated, as I didn't measure them at all (except for the yogurt). Feel free to substitute with the real deal if you don't have to worry about it. My sliced bananas were from a small bunch of organic bananas that I sliced and froze on a cookie sheet lined with foil, then put in a bag when completely frozen. The other frozen fruit was pre-packaged from the grocery freezer section. I poured this into a 20 oz plastic bottle to take with me to class on the bus ride and it filled it to about 3/4 from the top. This makes 1 large serving or 2 standard size servings (I'm guessing). This would be great for breakfast, snack, or dessert.

Steps:
- Place frozen banana slices, frozen mixed berries, and frozen whole strawberries in blender with the unsweetened soy milk. Blend, blend, blend, stopping to scrape sides occasionally. Blend until no more large chunks remain and mixture is smooth, but thick like soft-serve ice cream consistency. Add more milk if needed, but try to keep it thick.
- Add vanilla and blend a few seconds more.
- Add apple juice, cinnamon, and honey. Blend some more.
- Add in the 6 oz container of yogurt. Blend some more. Keep blending until everything is smooth but still thick. Serve immediately or refrigerate or freeze and partially thaw for drinking later. Mine is in the fridge right now and is still fairly thick, creamy, and drinkable. I just shake my container a couple times. I don't think I'll have enough left over for tomorrow, lol. Enjoy!

SOMMER'S STRAWBERRY BANANA PEACH SMOOTHIE (DAIRY-FREE)
Yep, it's another one of my creations, and this one is probably my simplest one yet, with the least ingredients, and so tasty! To ensure this is dairy-free, I used soy milk and soy yogurt. My favorite brand to use is Silk, and so I used Silk brand Organic Unsweetened Soy Milk and Silk Live! brand peach soy yogurt. I had previously sliced organic bananas that I had then frozen on a foil-lined baking sheet, and placed frozen slices into a freezer bag. I used frozen whole unsweetened strawberries from the freezer section of my grocery store. I was surprised, I did not add any honey, vanilla, or anything extra to this smoothie and I think it turned out just right, but if you desire, you may add additional ingredients. I love how smoothies can be so versatile. Hope you enjoy this! :) This filled approximately 3/4 of a 20oz bottle.

- Put frozen sliced bananas and frozen whole strawberries into blender with the soy milk. Blend until smooth and thick.
- Add in peach soy yogurt, blend more until smooth. Serve immediately or refrigerate (shake up before drinking to redistribute anything that's settled), or freeze and thaw slightly.
