Steps:
- In a medium saucepan add butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted.
- Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Continue to whisk until smooth. Add the grated parmesan cheese.
- Bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes or until it starts to thicken. Toss it with your favorite pasta!

BETTER THAN OLIVE GARDEN ALFREDO SAUCE
This is the best Alfredo sauce ever. This is several recipes combined into one. You can also add your choice of meat (chicken, shrimp or even crab). The closest OLIVE GARDEN is an hour away and I will never drive that far again just for Alfredo sauce. I promise this is the best sauce ever. Definitely a dish you would want to impress your guest with.

Steps:
- Melt butter in medium saucepan with olive oil over medium/low heat.
- Add the garlic, cream, white pepper and bring mixture to a simmer.
- Stir often.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and simmer sauce for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth.
- When sauce has thickened add the Mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth. STIR FREQUENTLY.
- While the sauce cooks, boil noodles for 3-5 minutes.
- Place pasta on serving plates and spoon sauce over pasta.
- Garnish with parsley, freshly cracked black pepper and more grated parmesan (optional).

RYANZGURL'S AMAZING ALFREDO SAUCE
A friend of mine got this recipe from a friend whose husband learned it in culinary school. Its absolutely amazing -- rich and wonderful, but lower in fat than the classic Alfredo because there is less butter and it uses milk instead of cream. Try it with chicken and broccoli. Try it with mixed, garden vegetables. Try it as the sauce on a white lasagna. Just try it!

- Put the VERY WELL SOFTENED cream cheese into a small saucepan. Slowly stir the milk in by hand to make a smooth mixture. I find that a large fork works well for this since it stirs better than a spoon but doesn't clog up like a whisk.
- Heat on medium until just shy of boiling.
- Add butter and stir in until just melted.
- Add cheese, stirring until smooth and melted. Do not boil.
- Serve over pasta or use in any recipe calling for Alfredo sauce.
- Add extra milk if a thinner texture is desired.
- Note -- This is easy to vary by adding a dash or sherry, a clove of minced garlic, a pinch or two of an herb that complements the meat or vegetable to be used, and so on.
- Note -- Keeps several days in the fridge and can be reheated in the microwave on reduced power so that it doesn't boil.

This is a recipe that I created by modifying my mother's recipe. My boyfriend is a fettuccine Alfredo connoisseur and he scrapes the pan every time! I get nothing but rave reviews when I make this dish. I must warn you, this recipe is not for the health conscious. Enjoy!

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add fettuccini and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter into cream over low heat. Add salt, pepper and garlic salt. Stir in cheese over medium heat until melted; this will thicken the sauce.
- Add pasta to sauce. Use enough of the pasta so that all of the sauce is used and the pasta is thoroughly coated. Serve immediately.

Steps:
- Melt butter in large saute pan.
- Add garlic and onions, saute until brown.
- Add broth and cream and reduce for several minutes.
- Slowly add the cornstarch/water mixture stirring until the sauce begins to thicken slightly.
- Do not over thicken as the parmesean cheese will also act as a thickener.
- Add the parmesan cheese, parsley, and salt & pepper.
- Taste test and add more seasoning if needed.

AMAZING ALFREDO SAUCE
Great substitute for alfredo sauce. Love it in white lasagna or just with fav pasta!

- 1. In a heavy, deep saucepan, melt the 1 stick of unsalted butter, slowly, so it does not brown.
- 2. While the butter is melting, cut the soften cream cheese into smaller chunks, so it will melt easier. Add to melted butter. Stir often, until melted with the butter. It will not blend smoothly with the butter at this point, so do not worry.
- 3. Add the parmedan cheese, and then slowly whisk in the milk, a cup at a time.
- 4. Add the garlic powder, and a pinch or two of nutmeg (fresh is preferred, but whats in your spice cabinet works too).
- 5. Let simmer on the lowest heat, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency. It will thicken the longer it sets, but just add more milk, to get it back to what you want. Add fresh ground pepper to taste.
- 6. Serve with your favorite pasta and chicken. You can add your favorite herbs to this to jazz it up too. I have done chive, dill, or basil, depending on the meat I am serving it with.
