SUNNY'S 1, 2, 3 SPICY BEAN DIP
Steps:
- Combine drained and rinsed beans, undrained beans, yogurt, chile garlic sauce, a pinch of salt and a few grinds of pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth while drizzling in a bit of olive oil to help the process along and to get the desired thickness.
- Pour the dip into a serving bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and a dollop of chile sauce in the center. Serve with nut crackers, pita chips or any dippables.

A southwestern dip sure to please the masses. It can even be made 1 day in advanced and refrigerated.

- Combine the refried beans, 1/4 cup of the salsa, the chili powder, cumin, and oregano in a medium bowl. Spread evenly over the bottom of a 9-inch round ceramic casserole dish (at least 2 inches deep) or an 8-by-8-by-2 1/4-inch glass baking dish.
- Combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, red onion, cilantro, and onion powder in a small bowl. Spread over the top of the beans mixture.
- Combine the bell pepper and the remaining 1 1/4 cups salsa in a small bowl. Gently spread over the sour cream mixture, being careful to not mix the layers. Top with the cheese and jalapeno and refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour. Serve with tortilla chips.

TACO DIP
This version of a game-day favorite, taco dip, is super simple to make. Even easier, make the beef-and-bean mixture a day ahead, then just reheat and top.

Steps:
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef, and cook, stirring occasionally, until completely browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Pour off the excess grease, add the taco seasoning and stir until the beef is well coated. Add the tomato paste, and stir until it darkens to a dull brick red, about 30 seconds. Add 3/4 cup water, bring to a simmer and cook and until the mixture thickens, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the beans, and stir just to warm them through. Remove from the heat, and transfer to an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Top the beef-and-bean mixture with an even layer of sour cream, then a layer of Cheddar. Sprinkle the tomatoes, lettuce and black olives and jalapeno if using on top. Serve with tortilla chips.

- With your mixer on medium speed, beat the cream cheese spread until creamy.
- Add the taco seasoning mix to the cream cheese.
- Beat until well blended.
- Spread onto bottom of a quiche dish or a 9 inch flat bottomed bowl or pie plate.
- Add the remaining ingredients in layers over the cream cheese mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour before serving.
- Serve with tortilla chips.

Let cool completely.
- Spread the spiced beef in a 9-by-13-inch glass or ceramic baking dish. In a medium bowl, stir the refried beans with a generous pinch each of salt and pepper until smooth. Spread the beans on the beef. Spread the sour cream over the beans, then sprinkle the cheese and tomato on top.
- Halve and pit the avocado, then cut it into 1/2-inch dice. Scatter the avocado, jalapeño and cilantro on the dip and serve with hot sauce and tortilla chips.
