CLASSIC WOW: 15 ITEMS GUARANTEED TO INCREASE IN VALUE IN LATER …
From thegamer.com
Estimated Reading Time 9 mins
- Mooncloth. Due to the four day cooldown on crafting Mooncloth, the fabric has always been somewhat expensive. Currently, most of it finds its way into either 16-slot bags or the Truefaith Vestments.
- Black Lotus. It's almost unfathomable that Black Lotus could increase any more than it already has. After raising nearly 60 gold since launch on some servers, many players are questioning if their value will ever decrease.
- Essence of Water. Essence of Water, like Living Essence, is used in those important healing items currently in-game along with the Robe of the Archmage and some respectable +frost damage greens.
- Living Essence. While Living Essence is no doubt useful right now for enchanting a weapon with Healing Power or crafting Hide of the Wild, Phase 5 will probably be the highlight in its lifecycle.
- Purple Lotus. In Phase 4 and Phase 5, Purple Lotus is given a bit more importance as a reagent in crafting recipes. They likely won't surge in value too much, as they're fairly commonly found in ruins such as the ones in Azshara (pictured above).
- Elemental Water. Hoarding Elemental Water is an investment for the long-run. The item won't see its peak usefulness till Phase 6 with the release of Naxxramas.
- Elemental Earth. On many servers, Elemental Earth has already seen a huge price leap. With the release of Blackwing Lair, many guilds are finding they need to use their Field Repair Bots and Elemental Sharpening Stones.
- Large Brilliant Shard. Although Large Brilliant Shards are quite common due to their guaranteed drop chance from disenchanting level 51+ blue items, their uses are somewhat limited currently.
- Firebloom. Firebloom is one of those many herbs that seem worthless. Most sell on the Auction House for mere silver. This will change by Phase 5. Currently, the meta requires mages to spec into frost, as the majority of raid encounters feature enemies with fire immunities/resistances.
- Ironweb Spider Silk. Ironweb Spider Silk, along with the other silks in-game, is one of those odds and ends items that most people pick up during questing or dungeons and either throw away or vendor.
