What could be easier than this? It's a "wonder"fully delicious bar cookie that even kids can make. From the kitchen of Michele Harvey Thornburg, Moberly MO.

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 (6 ounce) package chocolate chips
1 (6 ounce) package butterscotch chips
1 cup coconut
3/4 cup pecans, chopped
1 (10 ounce) can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk

Steps:

Melt butter in 9x13 baking dish or pan.
Add as follows - DO NOT STIR:.
Graham cracker crumbs, spread evenly over butter.
Chocolate chips and butterscotch chips, spread evenly over crumbs.
Coconut, spread evenly over chips.
Nuts, spread evenly over coconut.
Pour milk evenly over coconut.
Bake for 25 minutes at 325 degrees in a glass pan or 350 degrees if using a metal pan.

This is another old recipes from the 1960's from my recipe box.

Ingredients

1 - stick butter or margarine
1 - cup crushed graham cracker crumbs
1 - cup coconut
1 - pkg. chocolate chips
1 - pkg. butterscotch bits
1 - cup chopped pecans
1 - can sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

1. Melt butter in 11 x 8 inch pan
2. Sprinkle Graham Cracker Crumbs over Butter
3. Sprinkle Coconut over cracker crumbs
4. Sprinkle Chocolate Chips over Coconut
5. Sprinkle Butterscotch Chips Over Chocolate Chips
6. Sprinkle chopped pecans over Butterscotch chips
7. Pour can of condensed milk over all this
8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 35 minutes.
9. Let cool in pan before cutting.

I found this in a cookie cookbook from Ocala, Florida..I really like these bars...gooey, cream cheese heaven!

Ingredients

1 box 18.25 oz. yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 stick margarine or butter
1 pkg 1lb. powdered sugar
1 pkg 8oz. cream cheese; softened
nuts; type and amount your choice

Steps:

1. Mix the cake mix, 1 egg, and butter.
2. Press into a 9x13" cake pan.
3. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and 2 eggs.
4. Pour over cake layer.
5. Sprinkle with nuts.
6. Bake 350* for 35-40 minutes, cool and cut into 48 bars; Enjoy!
