White Chocolate Cranberry Chex Mix Food

WHITE CHOCOLATE CHEX MIX

Steps:

• Lay out sheets of parchment paper on 3 large cookies sheets or directly on a flat surface.
• In a large bowl, combine the Cheerios, Chex, peanuts, pretzels and M&M's.
• Over a double boiler, melt the chocolate and oil, stirring occasionally, until completely smooth. OR, in a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate and oil on low heat, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
• Pour melted chocolate over Chex mix and stir to coat. Spread mix onto prepared parchment to dry. Break Chex mix into smaller pieces after completely cooled.

CRANBERRY-CHOCOLATE CHEX® SNACK MIX

Steps:

• In gallon-size food-storage plastic bag or 3-quart container, mix all ingredients.
• Seal bag and shake ingredients to mix, or stir ingredients in container. Store tightly covered.

WHITE CHOCOLATE CHEX PARTY MIX

Steps:

• In a VERY large bowl (or two medium bowls), combine the first 5 ingredients. Set aside.
• In a microwave safe bowl, heat white chips and oil on high for 60 seconds (you could also melt chocolate and oil in a double boiler pan). Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds and stir until completely melted and smooth (you may need to microwave for a couple more seconds). Pour melted chocolate over cereal mix and stir until all the cereal is evenly covered with white chocolate. Spread cereal mix on 2 large baking sheets (I used cookie sheets) lined with wax paper. Let cool and then break apart into chunks.
• Store in an air tight container.

WHITE CHOCOLATE PARTY MIX

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients; set aside. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat chips and oil at 70% power for 1 minute, stirring once. Microwave on high for 5 seconds; stir until smooth. , Pour over cereal mixture and mix well. Spread onto three waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Cool; break apart. Store in an airtight container.

WHITE CHOCOLATE SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Line 3 baking sheets with waxed paper or parchment. Set aside.
• In a large bowl, combine mini pretzels, toasted oat cereal, crispy corn cereal squares, salted peanuts, and candy-coated chocolate pieces. Set aside.
• In a microwave-safe bowl, heat chips and oil on medium-high for 2 minutes, stirring once. Microwave on high for 10 seconds; stir until smooth. Pour over cereal mixture and mix well.
• Spread onto prepared baking sheets. Cool; break apart. Store in an airtight container.

CURRIED CRANBERRY SNACK MIX

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Place the butter, honey, honey mustard, curry powder and garlic powder in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds or until mixture is smooth. Pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat., Place half of the mixture in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Stir in 3/4 cup cranberries. Immediately spread onto waxed paper; cool completely. Repeat with remaining cereal and cranberries. Store in an airtight container.

*TINK'S WHITE CHOCOLATE, HONEY-NUT, BIRTHDAY PARTY CHEX MIX

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the Honey-Nut Cheerios, Corn Chex, mini pretzels, honey-roasted peanuts and M&Ms; set aside.
• Cover large area of table, counter top, or two large cookie sheets with waxed paper.
• In a microwave safe bowl, heat vanilla chips and vegetable oil on 50% power for 1 minute. Stir and heat 1 minute longer.
• If needed, microwave on full power for 10 seconds and then stir until smooth.
• Pour melted vanilla chips over dry mixture and stir gently to coat.
• Spread out on prepared wax paper-covered surface, and allow to cool completely. (I leave mine alone overnight.).
• When cool, gently break apart large pieces and store in an airtight container.

STRAWBERRIES AND WHITE CHOCOLATE CHEX® MIX

Steps:

• In large bowl, mix cereals.
• In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave baking chips and oil uncovered on Medium-High (70%) 1 minute; stir. Microwave 15 to 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Pour over cereal mixture; toss to coat.
• In large resealable food-storage plastic bag, mix powdered sugar and gelatin. Add cereal mixture to bag; seal. Shake until cereal is well coated. Add strawberries. Spread mixture on waxed paper. Store in airtight container.
