Steps:
- In a medium saucepan, heat water and agave, stirring until agave is dissolved.
- Remove from heat, mix in chocolate chips, stir until chocolate chips are completely melted.
- Blend mixture in a Vita-Mix (or other high speed blender).
- Cool mixture in freezer for 1 hour.
- Add to your ice cream maker, following directions per your machine.
- Serve.

CHOCOLATE SORBET
Steps:
- In a large saucepan, mix the sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in 2 cups water and the espresso. Cook over low heat until the ingredients are dissolved. Off the heat, stir in the coffee liqueur. Transfer to plastic containers and refrigerate until very cold.
- Freeze the mixture in an ice cream freezer according to the manufacturer's directions. The sorbet will still be soft; place it in a plastic container and freeze for 1 hour or overnight, until firm enough to scoop.

Quite a few of my kids' friends are allergic to dairy, so I make this vegan chocolate sorbet so that all the kids can enjoy eating the same treat.

Steps:
- Heat sugar, cocoa, and hot water over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes.
- Mix soy milk into the chocolate mixture. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions, about 20 minutes. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
