1/4 cup whole-berry cranberry sauce
1 tablespoon maple pancake syrup
1/4 teaspoon pepper
8 slices white bread
3/4 pound sliced deli turkey
2 tablespoons butter, softened

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, cranberry sauce, syrup and pepper until combined. Spread over 4 slices of bread; top with turkey and remaining bread. Spread butter over both sides of sandwiches. , Bake in a preheated waffle iron or indoor grill according to manufacturer's directions until golden brown, 2-3 minutes.

1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 teaspoons Dijon-style prepared mustard
3 slices smoked turkey breast
2 tablespoons guacamole
½ cup mixed salad greens
¼ cup bean sprouts
¼ avocado - peeled, pitted and sliced
3 ounces Colby-Monterey Jack cheese, sliced
2 slices tomato

Steps:

  • Spread mayonnaise on one slice of toast, then spread mustard on the other. Arrange the sliced turkey on one side. Spread guacamole over the turkey. Pile on the salad greens, bean sprouts, avocado and cheese. Finish with tomato slices, then place the remaining slice of toast on top.

3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 slices Cheddar
4 slices deli turkey, folded
4 slices cooked bacon
1/4 cup baby spinach
Thinly-sliced red onion, to taste
2 tablespoons butter (salted or unsalted)
Potato chips, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat a waffle maker to medium-low heat.
  • Spread each slice of bread with the mustard. Place a piece of cheese on top of each slice.
  • Add the turkey, bacon, spinach and onion to one side. Close the sandwich and butter the top with 1 tablespoon butter.
  • Set the sandwich, butter-side down, in the waffle maker. Spread the remaining butter on top of the sandwich and close the waffle maker.
  • Toast until golden and crisp, 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
  • Remove, slice in half and serve with potato chips.

Steps:

  • Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat; add in the butter; let melt.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by spreading the honey mustard on 4 of the waffles, then top with equal amounts of ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese.
  • Spread the cranberry sauce liberally on the remaining 4 waffles and place them atop the sandwiches.

1/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon pepper
8 slices white bread

Steps:

  • In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, cranberry sauce, syrup and pepper until combined.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture over four slices of bread; top with turkey and remaininig bread.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
3/4 pound turkey cutlets (each about 1/3 inch thick)
3/4 cup watercress leaves plus about 1 cup tender sprigs
1/3 cup mayonnaise
twelve 1/2-inch slices brioche or challah, toasted lightly
12 slices bacon, cooked until crisp
3 small tomatoes, sliced

Steps:

  • In a shallow dish whisk oil and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with pepper and garlic and add turkey. Marinate turkey, turning once, 30 minutes. Discard marinade. Heat a well-seasoned ridged grill pan over moderately high heat until hot and grill turkey 3 minutes on each side, or until just cooked through. Cool turkey on a cutting board and cut into 4 portions.
  • In a small food processor or blender purée watercress leaves and mayonnaise until smooth and blend in remaining tablespoon lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread watercress mayonnaise on 8 toast slices and top 4 with turkey and salt and pepper to taste. Top turkey with 4 remaining mayonnaise-spread toasts, mayonnaise sides up, and top each portion with bacon, tomatoes, and watercress sprigs. Top with remaining toasts.

Transfer turkey to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
  • Prepare the Syrup: Whisk together cranberry sauce, maple syrup, and salt in a small bowl. Microwave on HIGH 45 seconds, stirring after 20 seconds.
