TUNA CASSEROLE
Break out a family favorite: tuna casserole. The traditional comfort food is great for serving large groups. In our tuna casserole recipe, we cut the sauce with chicken broth, but there's enough milk to make this casserole feel indulgent.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta 2 minutes less than package instructions (it will be undercooked). Drain. In a small bowl, toss together panko, Parmesan, and 2 teaspoons oil.
- In pot, heat 2 tablespoons oil over medium-high. Add onion, season with salt and pepper, and cook until softened, 8 minutes. Add flour and whisk to coat onion with flour. Slowly whisk in broth, then milk.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce comes to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce is thickened, about 8 minutes. Stir in pasta, tuna, and peas and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Transfer tuna mixture to a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and top with panko mixture. Bake until sauce is bubbling and crust is golden, 17 to 20 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.

CLASSIC TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE

- Heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Stir the soup, milk, peas, pimientos, if desired, tuna and noodles in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Stir the bread crumbs and butter in a small bowl. Bake for 20 minutes or until the tuna mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the tuna mixture. Sprinkle with the bread crumb mixture. Bake for 5 minutes or until the bread crumb mixture is golden brown.
EASY TUNA CASSEROLE
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine topping ingredients and set aside.
- Boil noodles al dente according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Cook onion and celery in butter until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large bowl combine noodles, onion mixture, peas, soup, milk, cheese, tuna and parsley. Mix well.
- Spread into a 2qt casserole dish and top with crumb topping.
- Bake 18-20 minutes or until bubbly.

AHI TUNA FISH SOUP
This fish soup is SO SIMPLE, DELICIOUS, and amazingly HEALTHY for you! You can make it with things you probably already have in your fridge and is great served with a cup of rice! Try it with frozen albacore tuna too! Feel free to use any vegetables you want, as well as other types of thick steak fish such as albacore tuna. I buy my frozen fish for soups at Trader Joe's which are both affordable and very fresh!

- Put water in a pot; add long beans, chayote, ginger, and green onion. Bring the water to a boil, place a lid on the pot, and reduce heat to medium. Continue cooking until the vegetables are tender, about 8 minutes.
- Gently drop tuna steaks into the water; add bok choy and tomato. Return cover to pot, reduce heat to low, and cook until the tuna is cooked through, about 20 minutes. Remove pot from heat; cool 5 minutes before serving.

- Drain and flake the tuna.
- Cook broccoli as directed on package, reserving 1/3 cup of the cooking liquid.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add onion; cook until onion is tender. Blend in flour until smooth and bubbly.
- Stir in seasoned salt, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Stir in reserved cooking liquid.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is smooth and thickened.
- Stir in the flaked tuna, broccoli, and cheese.
- Heat until cheese is melted.

TUNA CASSEROLE FROM SCRATCH (NO CANNED SOUPS!)
This easy classic tuna casserole from scratch is made healthier with whole wheat pasta, less milk, and no canned, processed ingredients!

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and butter a 9x13 baking dish. Set aside.
- Cook pasta in salted water according to directions.
- Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet. Add the diced onions and celery; sauté until tender (about 3 minutes).
- Add the minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Add the mushrooms, stir with the other veggies, then allow to cook until most of the liquid has evaporated, stirring only occasionally (about 10 minutes).
- Add the flour (1/4 cup), stir to coat, and gradually add the milk (1 cup) and broth (1 cup). Heat over medium-high heat until thickened, stirring frequently. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, melt remaining tablespoon of butter. Mix with breadcrumbs (1/2 cup).
- Add the cooked, drained pasta and tuna to the mixture. Spread mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture on top. Top with the shredded cheese (1 cup).
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until browned and bubbly.

TUNA AND SWEETCORN SOUP

- Melt the margarine over a medium heat, in a large saucepan, then add the curry powder and flour.
- Slowly add the chicken stock and milk mixing well until there are no lumps left. If this is taking too long you can use a food mixer to help.
- When mixed and blended add the tuna and sweetcorn. Also add salt and pepper to taste.
- Bring to the boil, lower heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve immediately.

NO-SOUP TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE
Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 350 F/180 C. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water following package directions until al dente.
- Drain in a colander and rinse under cold water to stop the noodles from cooking further. Reserve.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown and tender.
- Add the flour. Cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Gradually add the milk and continue to cook, stirring, until the sauce has thickened.
- Stir in the mayonnaise, frozen peas, drained tuna, and drained pimientos. Bring to a simmer and continue cooking, stirring, for 1 minute longer.
- Combine the sauce mixture with the noodles and stir to blend ingredients thoroughly.
- Lightly butter a 2-quart baking dish or spray with cooking spray.
- Turn the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, make the topping by combining the breadcrumbs with the melted butter.
- Sprinkle the buttered breadcrumbs over the casserole.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is browned. Serve and enjoy.
