Provided by Reynolds Kitchens(R)

Categories     Trusted Brands: Recipes and Tips     Reynolds®

Yield 15

Number Of Ingredients 12

Reynolds Wrap® Non Stick Aluminum Foil
2 ½ pounds ground chuck beef
2 pounds ground pork
½ cup dry bread crumbs
2 teaspoons steak seasoning
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 eggs
1 (32 ounce) container barbecue sauce
1 (32 ounce) jar grape jelly
1 teaspoon Hot sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line 4 baking sheets with Reynolds® NonStick Aluminum Foil (dull side up).
  • Combine the meat with all other meatball ingredients and form into about 80 bite-size meatballs. Place 20 meatballs on each pan, and bake for 35 minutes or until browned all the way through.
  • While the meatballs are baking, pour the barbecue sauce and the grape jelly into a sauce pan and heat over medium until they are well combined. If you want your meatballs to have a little extra kick, add some hot sauce to the mix. Once the meatballs are finished, you can slide them right off the pan and into your serving dish. Pour your sauce on top and serve immediately. The finished dish does well in the microwave if you are taking it to a party and need to reheat it.

SWEET BBQ MEATBALLS

Sweet BBQ Meatballs image

I know tons of people that make this for parties and get-togethers and they are always a hit because they are so good and easy! I wanted to make this to, so between internet searching and my sister-in-law this is what I came up with. My sister-in-law said she adds water but I like the sauce to be thicker, so this can be up to you. Since it is going into the slow cooker, it is going to loosen up as it cooks anyways. Note: Everything will fit into a 2 quart slow cooker.

SWEET BROWN SUGAR BBQ MEATBALLS

Sweet Brown Sugar BBQ Meatballs image

So easy and SO delicious, these sticky glazed meatballs are sweet, savory and just a little spicy. They have a rich, deep flavor thanks to brown sugar and your favorite BBQ sauce.

Provided by The Food in My Beard

Categories     Appetizer

Time 30m

Yield 30

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 cup Progresso™ Panko Italian style crispy bread crumbs
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, grated
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 teaspoons chile flakes (or to taste)
Chopped chives (for garnish)

Steps:

  • Mix all of the meatball ingredients together and form your meatballs.
  • Heat a large frying pan with a little oil and gently, one by one, add in the meatballs.
  • After they cook for about 4 minutes, flip the meatballs and cook an additional 4 minutes. Once they're cooked on the outside, they should be a little less delicate. Making sure none are stuck to the bottom, start tossing them in the pan a little more to cook them evenly. Drain most of the fat, leaving a few tablespoons' worth in the pan.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of water to deglaze the pan, scraping up any stuck-on pieces. Add the brown sugar, adding a little more water if the pan looks too dry.
  • The sauce should start to bubble and look like dark caramel.
  • Remove from heat and add in the barbecue sauce. Stir well.
  • Remove from heat and add in the barbecue sauce. Stir well.

SHEET PAN BARBECUE MEATBALLS

Sheet Pan Barbecue Meatballs image

If you're a fan of cocktail meatballs, chances are you're familiar with the famous slow cooker recipe starring frozen meatballs, chili sauce, and grape jelly. It has a devoted following online and in real life and became a fixture at my family's birthday celebrations as a crowd-friendly snack adored by all ages. I've swapped the slow cooker for a sheet pan, which allows you to enjoy meatballs from scratch in minutes, rather than hours. Orange soda lends a citrusy, sweet-and-sour-esque taste to the quick-fix barbecue sauce. Shape the meatballs into smaller sizes for snacking or go big to turn this appetizer into the main event.

Provided by Kelly Senyei

Categories     side-dish

Time 30m

Yield 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 21

Cooking spray
2 slices white bread
1/2 cup dairy or non-dairy milk
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1 large egg
1/4 cup minced scallions (2 scallions)
2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup orange soda
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon water

Steps:

  • Make the meatballs. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil, then grease the foil with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine the bread and milk and let sit until the bread has absorbed the milk, about 5 minutes. Mash it all together with a fork. Add the ground beef, ground pork, egg, scallions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Using your hands, mix together just until combined.
  • Scoop out 2-tablespoon portions of the mixture and roll into balls. Arrange the meatballs in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake the meatballs for about 15 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. (Larger meatballs will require longer cooking times.) While the meatballs are baking, make the barbecue sauce.
  • Make the barbecue sauce. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the orange soda, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water.
  • When the soda mixture comes to a boil, whisk in the cornstarch slurry. Boil the sauce, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to the consistency of syrup, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and set the sauce aside to cool for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the meatballs from the oven, then transfer to a large bowl. Pour in the barbecue sauce, toss to combine, and serve.

SWEET AND TANGY MEATBALLS

Sweet and Tangy Meatballs image

Sweet and tangy meatballs are a classic party appetizer that's perfect for your next big gathering, easy to prep in the oven or slow cooker.

Provided by Meghan Yager

Categories     Meatballs

Time 3h15m

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 lbs ground beef (80-85% lean)
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
2 large eggs
1 white medium onion, minced (about 1 cup)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 Tbsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 cups ketchup or chili sauce
18 oz natural grape jelly

Steps:

  • Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and chili powder in a large bowl until well-combined.
  • Form the meat into 50 equally-sized balls, using a rounded teaspoonful for each.
  • Add oil to a large skillet and heat over medium-high heat, or add to your slow cooker and turn on the SEAR setting. Once hot, lightly brown the meatballs in batches. Transfer to a large plate after they brown.
  • Add ketchup or chili sauce and jelly to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Pour about 2/3 cup of the sauce into the bottom of a Dutch oven or Crock-Pot insert, spreading to coat the bottom in an even layer. This can also be done on the SEAR setting in your slow cooker.
  • Add one-third of the meatballs to the bottom of the pan or insert. Top with another 2/3 cup of sauce. Add another third of the meatballs on top, followed by another 2/3 cup of sauce. Finish with the remaining meatballs and top with remaining sauce.
  • If you are using a Dutch oven, cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours, until sauce has thickened and meat is cooked through.
  • If you are using a slow cooker, set to low and cook for 2-3 hours, until sauce is very thick and beef is cooked through.
  • Serve immediately on a platter with toothpicks.

CROCKPOT GRAPE JELLY BBQ MEATBALLS

Crockpot Grape Jelly BBQ Meatballs image

Lusciously tender crockpot BBQ meatballs with grape jelly, BBQ sauce, and honey! How to make grape jelly BBQ meatballs in a slow cooker.

Provided by Alyssia Sheikh

Categories     Lunch     Lunch & Dinner     Main Course

Time 6h30m

Number Of Ingredients 12

16 oz ground beef
16 oz ground pork
1 large egg (beaten)
1 cup breadcrumbs
⅓ cup onion (finely chopped)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 cup barbecue sauce
⅓ cup ketchup
⅓ cup honey
⅓ cup grape jelly

Steps:

  • Whisk together sauce ingredients. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine meatball ingredients, mixing well to integrate.
  • Form mixture into meatballs. I used a 4-tsp cookie scoop to yield 36 meatballs, 1-oz each. (You can freeze the uncooked meatballs if youwant at this point.)
  • To cook, heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add meatballs, leaving space in between so you can turn them over. Use tongs to turn meatballs to brown all sides. (They don't need to be cooked through-just seared on the outside so they won't fall apart in the slow cooker.)
  • Sear in batches until all meatballs are ready.
  • Add half of jelly BBQ sauce to crockpot. Place seared meatballs on top of sauce. Spoon remaining sauce on top of meatballs.
  • Cook fresh meatballs on low heat for 6 hours. (If frozen, cook 8-10 hours.)
  • Serve on skewers for BBQ meatball appetizers, or however you like!

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the turkey, pork, garlic, green onions, sambal oelek, red curry paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, cilantro, and bread crumbs. Mix until mixture holds together well. Form into 25 two-inch round balls (I like to use a small scooper to make the meatballs uniform in size). Place the meatballs into the freezer for about 10 minutes. This helps to keep the meatballs firm for threading onto the skewers. Remove from freezer and thread the meatballs onto metal or wooden skewers with pearl onions in between the meatballs (about 3 meatballs per skewer).
  • In a small mixing bowl whisk together the soy sauce, Sriracha, honey, and brown sugar. In a separate small bowl whisk together the cornstarch and water until dissolved. Add the cornstarch mixture the sauce mixture and combine well. Place the sauce in a small sauce pan over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken into a glaze. Do not overcook or it will burn and be too thick! Remove from stove and set aside, stirring occasionally.
  • Place the skewers on an oiled grill rack or grill pan, turning to brown on all sides until cooked through, about 8 to 10 minutes. Brush the meatballs with the glaze about halfway through. Remove skewers from grill and spoon more glaze over the meatballs. Serve with pearl onions. Garnish with green onions.

BAKED BBQ MEATBALLS (COMFORT FOOD ... - ALYONA’S COOKING
Barbecue meatballs are not your typical Italian meatballs with breadcrumbs, herbs, or parmesan cheese. They are rather very similar to classic meatloaf , in taste with a hickory sweet sauce. Which is why there’re best served with a side of mashed potatoes or rice for complete comfort food!
