Sweet Baby Rays Bbq Garlic Chicken Food
SWEET BABY RAY'S CROCK POT BARBECUE CHICKEN
I found this on a blog called "Stick a Fork In It" and I am posting for safekeeping. It sounds delightfully easy and delicious. Mix it up, throw it in a crock pot and in four to six hours, you have a meal that the whole family will love!

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients except chicken.
- Put chicken in the crock pot and pour sauce mixture over it. (I usually save some sauce to drizzle over the chicken when I serve it).
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
SWEET BABY RAY'S CHICKEN
Last night my friend, Terry had me over to eat with her and her family. She made this delicious chicken recipe. She calls it Sweet Ray's BBQ Chicken....very simple to make and so easy. I just had to share it with you my friends....so yummy! *Google Pic*

Steps:
- Wash and cut 4 boneless chicken breast in half.
- Lay chicken in a baking dish that has been covered with foil.
- Salt & Pepper chicken.
- Bake in oven on 350 for about 20 minutes. (you want chicken to be at least 166 at temperature to make sure done)
- Remove from oven and spread Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce over chicken.
- Take the bacon and cut one strip at at time in half so you can place 2 halves on each piece of chicken.
- Top with one slice of Swiss cheese.
- Put back in oven just long enough to melt cheese.
- Remove from oven.
- Enjoy!

- Place 6 boneless skinless chicken breast put in gallon baggie. dumped sweet baby Ray's BBQ Sauce in bag, seasoning salt and garlic. Close bag squish bag around till all chicken is coated. I let mine marinate over night in the fridge.
- The next day I put chicken in crock pot add remaining ingredients on top of chicken mix together cook on high 4 hours.

- 2. Place chicken in crockpot (still frozen is ok). Pour sauce mixture over chicken.

SWEET BABY RAY'S BARBECUE SAUCE (COPYCAT)
A copycat of the famous Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce. In my experience there is little to no need for the cornstarch slurry, but it's there as an optional step in case you want your sauce thick. Personally I just use a little of the slurry because the 10-15 minutes simmering time would already reduce the sauce and it would continue to thicken while cooling.

Steps:
- Whisk together all ingredients except cornstarch and cold water in a medium pot over medium heat. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes until sugar has dissolved.
- Combine the cornstarch and cold water then mix well to create a slurry. Add slurry to the sauce to thicken. (optional).
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until desired thickness, is achieved.
