Steps:
- Add all ingredients into a stand mixer and blend on high until smooth.
- Continue to add additional cream for desired consistency. Makes 1 1/4 cup or 10 ounces.
- Does not need refrigeration once on cookies.
- Unused frosting can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or frozen for up to 3 months.

ABSOLUTELY SUGAR FREE FROSTING
This is so simple and so good, not just as frosting either!! I am a recently diagnosed diabetic with a gigantic sweet tooth, so I am always looking for goodies. I was sitting around bored and craving something sweet one day and this is what happened. This is pretty low in carbs too-- which is great for diabetics as well as low carb dieters. But beware, it is NOT low in fat!! This recipe makes a bunch, but I am pretty sure it can be reduced by parts. The serving number is a guess-- it depends on what you use this for.

- Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Using electric mixer at low speed, mix til pudding is dissolved. Increase speed and whip until it is spreading consistency.

- In a large bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the confectioners' sugar, vanilla and enough milk to achieve desired consistency.
- Almond Buttercream Frosting : Substitute 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon almond extract for the vanilla.
- Chocolate Buttercream Frosting : Reduce confectioners' sugar to 4 cups and add 1/2 cup baking cocoa; increase milk to 6-7 tablespoons.
- Lemon Buttercream Frosting : Substitute 5-6 tablespoons lemon juice for the milk; add 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel.
- Orange Buttercream Frosting : Substitute 5-6 tablespoons orange juice for the milk; add 1 teaspoon grated orange peel.
- Peanut Butter Frosting : Substitute peanut butter for the butter; increase milk to 6-8 tablespoons.
- Peppermint Buttercream Frosting : Substitute 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon peppermint extract for the vanilla.

- Cream together the sugar free powdered sugar and the butter by mixing on low for one minute. Once these appear to be somewhat blended you can increase the speed to medium to get a more whipped texture. It should take about 2 1/2- 3 minutes to get a good texture.
