Chicken and Yellow Rice Recipe with Broccoli and Cheese image

2 tbsps oil divided
1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders cut into strips
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp minced garlic
2 1/2 cups water
1 package ZATARAIN'S® Yellow Rice
1 package (10 oz) frozen broccoli florets thawed
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 5 minutes or until browned. Remove chicken; set aside
  • Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in skillet. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir 4 minutes or until softened. Add water; bring to boil, stirring to release browned bits from bottom of skillet. Stir in Rice Mix; return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes
  • Place broccoli and chicken over rice; cover. Cook 5 minutes longer or until broccoli and chicken are heated through
  • Sprinkle cheese over top; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted

1 (10 ounce) package mahatma yellow rice mix
3 cups cooked chicken breasts, cubed
1 (15 ounce) jar Cheez Whiz
1 (8 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup sour cream

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Lightly spray a 2-quart casserole with cooking spray.
  • In saucepan, prepare yellow rice according to package directions.
  • Meanwhile, prepare broccoli in microwave according to package directions and drain.
  • Mix all ingredients together and put into casserole.
  • Bake, loosely covered with foil, at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.

1 Tbsp. oil
1 whole chicken (3 lb.), cut up
3-1/2 cups water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1-1/2 cups long-grain white rice, uncooked
3 cups fresh broccoli florets
1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA, cut up

Steps:

  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook 5 to 7 min. on each side or until browned on both sides. Remove chicken from skillet, reserving drippings in skillet.
  • Stir water into drippings in skillet. Add bouillon cubes. Bring to boil. Stir in rice. Top with chicken; cover. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 10 min. Add broccoli; cook an additional 10 min. or until chicken is cooked through (180°F). Remove chicken from skillet; cover to keep warm.
  • Add VELVEETA to ingredients remaining in skillet; mix lightly. Cook until VELVEETA is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently. Return chicken to skillet; cover. Let stand 5 min. before serving.

1 (8 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup
1 cup Minute Rice (quick)
1/4 cup butter
16 ounces frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 cup milk
3 lbs chicken, cooked and chopped
1 (8 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • In a bowl, mix rice, soups, broth and.
  • combine with cut up chicken and broccoli. Mix in milk and cut up butter and onions. Mixture will be thick. Place in casserole dish. Spread layer flat. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • Bake covered with foil at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking another 10 minutes.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. This allows it to set!
  • This is more of a chicken bowl consistency not a layered casserole.

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 green bell pepper, diced
¼ cup olive oil
1 (16 ounce) package yellow rice
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 pinch poultry seasoning, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Bring water and chicken bouillon to a boil in a large skillet. Add chicken breasts and bell pepper; simmer over medium heat until chicken is no longer pink in the center, about 20 minutes. Remove chicken and pour remaining broth into a 9x13-inch baking dish.

2 cups uncooked instant rice
2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 small white onion, chopped
1 pound processed cheese food

Steps:
