- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 inches of water to a boil. In a steamer basket, add in the apples and broccoli, place basket over boiling water and cover. Steam for 7 minutes. Add in spinach on top of the apples and broccoli, cover and steam for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Reserve steamer water.
- Transfer all ingredients to a blender or food processor and puree on high for 1-2 minutes. Add the reserved steamer water, breast milk or formula, in 1/4 cup increments, to get puree to the right consistency. I had to add 1/4 cup of water to the puree above.
