Steps:
- Preheat oven to 450*.
- Combine mix, milk and cheese with a wooden spoon until soft dough forms.
- Beat vigorously 30 seconds.
- Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Combine butter and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.
- Serve warm.
- Makes 10 large biscuits.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 450.
- Combine Bisquick with 4 Tablespoons butter using a pastry cutter or a large fork.
- Add milk, and cheddar cheese.
- Stir together.
- Spoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- In a small sauce pan combine 2 Tablespoons butter, garlic powder and old bay seasoning.
- Heat until butter is melted.
- Spoon butter mixture over hot biscuits.
- Eat em' up!
- They are YUMMY!

Some silly people at this website insist that I stole this recipe from them, but I stand by the fact that I have never heard of this group/chef/whatever. Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Combine biscuit ingredients in a large bowl and mix well, but not too well (chunks are OK).
- Mixing may require a bit of kneading.
- Roll about 1/4 cup of dough to make potential biscuits and place them on a non-greased, non-stick cookie sheet (there should be 12).
- Make sure that they are well-spaced.
- Place biscuits in the oven for 15-17 minutes.
- While the biscuits are in the oven, combine glaze ingredients. Melt the butter at 15 second intervals until it is melted.
- Remove the biscuits from the oven when they are golden brown.
- Pour or brush the glaze onto the biscuits.
- Enjoy!

- Position a rack in the upper third of the oven and preheat to 425 degrees. Lightly mist a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Make the biscuits: Pulse the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a food processor. Add the shortening and pulse until combined. Add the butter; pulse 4 or 5 times, or until the butter is in pea-size pieces. Add the cheese and pulse 2 or 3 times. Pour in the milk and pulse just until the mixture is moistened and forms a shaggy dough. Turn out onto a clean surface and gently knead until the dough comes together. Do not overwork the dough or the biscuits will be tough.
- Drop the dough onto the baking sheet in scant 1/4-cup portions, 2 inches apart, and bake until golden, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make the garlic butter: Melt the butter with the garlic in a small saucepan over medium heat; cook for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and stir in the parsley. Brush the biscuits with the garlic butter and serve warm.

I made these with baked potato soup and loved it. Great addition! I gave them to a friend and he said they tasted just like the ones at Red Lobster®. The recipe will yield more if made into smaller biscuits. They are best served fresh out of the oven.

- 1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Place first 4 ingredients (or 2 1/2 cups baking mix) in a large bowl. Add the cayenne pepper, cream of tartar, bay seasoning, salt and garlic powder. Mix in the butter with a pastry cutter or large fork. There should be small chunks of butter left in there. Mix in the cheese, milk, and then add the sour cream. Don't be afraid to get your hands in there! Scoop the biscuit dough out by big spoonfuls and place on a greased 9 x 13 casserole pan (using a cookie sheet may allow butter sauce to spill over). Now for the special garlic-herb butter topping ... Topping 6 tablespoons butter, melted 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes 1 teaspoon of oregano pinch of salt Melt the butter. Stir in the garlic powder, parsley, oregano, and a pinch of salt. Spoon half of topping over the unbaked biscuits. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes (or until lightly brown). Remove the biscuits from the oven and brush the rest of the topping over them. Pop them back in for another 5 minutes or so (or until golden brown). Note: This should make about 20 biscuits or so. Get 'em while they're hot!
