POPPY SEED CREAMED CHICKEN
A dear friend gave me this recipe. It's been such a hit with family that I'm happy to share it. A few years back, it won a blue ribbon in a chicken recipe contest.-June Sheaffer, Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania

- In a large bowl, combine the chicken, soup, sour cream and poppy seeds. Pour mixture into a greased shallow 3-cup baking dish. In a small bowl, combine cracker crumbs and butter; sprinkle over top. , Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with noodles.

- Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, whisk together sour cream, chicken soup and poppy seeds. Stir in chicken and slivered almonds.
- Transfer the chicken mixture to a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the Ritz crackers and the melted butter.
- Add the buttered cracker crumbs to the top of the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is hot and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
