1/2 cup Triple Sec
1/2 cup tequila
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1/3 cup lime juice
1/4 cup simple syrup
Ice cubes
Orange slices, optional

Steps:

  • In a pitcher, combine the first five ingredients; stir well. Serve over ice; garnish with orange slices if desired.

1/4 cup pomegranate juice, store bought is fine, plus seeds for garnish
1/3 cup Tequila Blanco (about 4 ounces)
1/8 cup Triple Sec (about 1-ounce)
1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 ounces)
12 ounces ice cubes
Margarita salt, optional

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients, except salt, in a blender and pulse until frothy and well combined. Rim glasses with lime juice using a lime wedge then dip in margarita salt, drop some fresh pomegranate seeds in the bottom of the glass and pour margarita mix over the top.

My mother found this recipe in Woman's Day and thought it looked fun. And it is supposed to be excellent for hot flashes!! Timing does not include the cooling of sugar syrup.

1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
2 cups pomegranate juice
1/3 cup lime juice
2/3 cup tequila or 2/3 cup clear soda pop
1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur or 1/4 cup orange juice
2 cups ice cubes

Steps:

  • Pour sugar and water into saucepan; set saucepan over medium heat; stirring until sugar dissolves.
  • Let cool.
  • In a blender, mix the sugar syrup, juices, tequila, liquor, and ice cubes and puree until slushy.
  • Pour into salt rimmed glasses and enjoy!

This is the easiest and best-tasting frozen homemade margarita recipe. Use a reasonably priced pure agave tequila for better taste.

1 teaspoon salt, or as needed
1 slice lime, or as needed
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate
6 fluid ounces pure agave tequila
4 fluid ounces triple sec
3 fluid ounces orange juice
2 cups ice as needed

Steps:

  • Sprinkle salt onto a small plate. Rub lime on the rims of 4 glasses. Turn each glass upside down in the plate until the rim is coated with salt.
  • Pour limeade, tequila, triple sec, and orange juice into a blender. Add ice to the fill line and puree mixture until slushy. Pour into the prepared glasses.
