A yummy classic! Sweet Peach Iced Tea! This tasty, cool, refreshing treat is sure to quench any thirst! Filled with a fresh peach taste, that will remind of you a lazy summer day, long after summers' past! To Serve: Dip the rim of a tall ice tea glass with peach syrup, then dip in granulated sugar! Top it off with a peach slice affixed to the rim, and some ice cubes and Enjoy!

8 -12 black tea bags, non flavored, tags removed if any
1 (15 ounce) can yellow cling peaches, reserve syrup
1 cup sugar, can substitute artificial sweetener
2 1/3 quarts water

Steps:

  • In a 3qt stock pot, combine the tea bags, water and sugar.
  • Brew on med-low heat.
  • Open the canned peaches, and drain the syrup into the pot.
  • Drop in 3-5 peach slices.
  • Reserve the rest of the peaches on the side.
  • Brew the tea to just under a boil.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Strain off the tea bags, but leave the peach slices.
  • Return tea to pot, cover and let sit until tea is room temperature.
  • Place tea into a a pitcher for serving.
  • Refrigerate until chilled.

This is a recipe I found in my cookbook called Favorite Brand Name Classic Recipe Collection. It's really easy to make and the oranges offer a really refreshing citrus boost to the iced tea. I didn't include chilling time in the preparation time.

2 oranges
4 cups boiling water
5 tea bags
ice cube
honey or brown sugar, to sweeten

Steps:

  • With a vegetable peeler, peel each orange in a continuous spiral, removing only the outer colored layer of peel.
  • In a large pitcher, pour boiling water over the tea bags and orange peel. Cover and steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. Chill tea mixture with peel in a covered container.
  • To serve, remove the peel and pour iced tea over ice cubes in tall glasses.
  • Sweeten to taste with honey (or brown sugar). Garnish with orange slices and fresh mint leaves, if desired.

1 clementine, peeled and segmented
1 tablespoon white sugar, or to taste
8 cups boiling water
4 Earl Grey tea bags

Steps:

  • Place peach, clementine, and sugar in a pitcher. Mash the fruit using a spoon; add water and tea bags and stir. Refrigerate until cool, about 1 hour. Remove fruit and tea bags using a slotted spoon.

14-1/2 cups water, divided
10 tea bags
1-1/2 cups sugar
2/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup thawed orange juice concentrate
Ice cubes

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups of water just to a boil. Remove from the heat. Add tea bags; let stand for 10 minutes. Discard tea bags. , Pour tea into a large container. Stir in the sugar, lemon juice, orange juice concentrate and remaining water. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice.

4 cups cold, brewed chrysanthemum tea
1/2 cup cold, fresh orange juice
Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Steps:

  • Pour the peach nectar into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight. Whisk together the tea and orange juice. Place a few of the ice cubes in each glass and pour the tea over them. Let stand a few minutes until the cubes begin to melt. Stir, garnish with mint and serve.
