Oklahoma Dirt Cake Food

DIRT CAKE I

Steps:

• Chop cookies very fine in food processor. The white cream will disappear.
• Mix butter, cream cheese, and sugar in bowl.
• In a large bowl mix milk, pudding and whipped topping together.
• Combine pudding mixture and cream mixture together.
• Layer in flower pot, starting with cookies then cream mixture. Repeat layers.
• Chill until ready to serve.
• Add artificial flower and trowel. Enjoy!

DIRT CAKE II

Steps:

• Put the cookies in a food processor and process until they become fine crumbs. Set aside.
• In a large bowl, combine the butter or margarine, cream cheese, confectioners sugar and vanilla flavoring. Beat on low speed to mix then beat on medium speed until smooth. Add the chocolate pudding mix and milk to the bowl. Beat on low speed to combine.
• Fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture with a rubber spatula.
• Assemble in the ungreased 9x13 inch pan in layers as follows: first layer, 1/3 cookie crumbs; second layer, 1/2 pudding mixture; third layer, 1/3 cookie crumbs; fifth layer, 1/3 cookie crumbs.
• Tuck the ends of gummy worms in the cookie "dirt". Be sure to have a worm on each piece. Store in the refrigerator. Chill for at least 3 hours before serving. Cut into 15 squares, or serve with a clean garden trowel or a toy sand shovel if serving in the flower pot.

OKLAHOMA DIRT CAKE

Steps:

• Crush half the Oreo cookies in bottom of pan.
• Mix margarine, sugar, cream cheese together.
• In separate bowl, mix pudding, vanilla and milk.
• Fold in Cool Whip.
• Mix both bowls together.
• Spread over cookies.
• Crush remaining cookies and sprinkle on top.

"LITE" PEANUT BUTTER DIRT CAKE

Steps:

• Pour crushed cookie crumbs into the bottom of an square dish.
• In a bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, and 1 cup powdered sugar until smooth.
• Fold in half of the Cool Whip.
• Spread over crust.
• Sprinkle with chopped peanut butter cups.
• In another bowl, beat the milk, pudding mix and remaining powdered sugar .
• Fold in the rest of the Cool whip.
• Spread over the peanut butter cups.
• Crush the remaining cookies and sprinkle over the top.
• Cover and chill overnight.

OKLAHOMA MUD CAKE

Steps:

• Cream together the sugar, 2 sticks margarine, eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
• In another medium sized bowl, mix together flour, coconut, chopped nuts, and 3 tablespoons cocoa then fold into the creamed mixture.
• Spread into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
• After removing from oven, immediately spread one jar of Marshmallow Crème over the top. Allow cake to cook before frosting. While it cools, make the frosting.
• FROSTING:.
• Mix powdered sugar, 1 stick margarine, cocoa, evaporated milk and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract well and spread it over the cooled cake.

DIRT CAKE

Steps:

• Bake the cake according to its directions. Let it completely cool. I try baking it the day before to make sure its good and cool.
• For this part take off your rings. In a large bowl crumble the cake until it looks like "dirt". Feel through the pile to make sure you've not left any large clumps of cake.
• Next add your chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, pieces, and minis. by hand mix it all into the cake really well.
• Then add the gummy worms and stir them inches.
• Next gently fold in the cool whip. It's okay to have white spots.
• Last drizzle the chocolate syrup over the top. Use the whole cup as it will soak into the cake.
• If your not serving it immediately you will want to refrigerate it. And if its hot out you'll want to keep it somewhere cool and out of the sun.
• It is really rich so you won't want large scoops.

BLUEBERRY LEMON LOAF

Steps:

• Cake:-.
• Heat oven to 180C/ 350°F.
• In a bowl cream butter and stir in sugar a little at a time.
• Beat in eggs.
• In a small bowl combine flour, salt, baking powder and lemon rind.
• Add flour mixture alternately with milk to the butter mixture; blend until smooth.
• Fold in blueberries (if using frozen dust lightly in all-purpose flour).
• Put mixture in a greased10 x 6 inch loaf tin.
• Bake for 1 hour.
• Topping:-.
• Mix sugar and lemon juice until sugar is dissolved.
• Carefully remove loaf from pan (after cooling slightly) and spoon topping over the warm loaf.
