400 g flour
100 g sugar
150 g butter
50 g desiccated coconut
2 eggs
400 g nutella

Steps:

  • line the base of a 24 cm springform tin with baking paper grease the sides.
  • preheat oven to 180 Celsius.
  • place everything except the nutella into a medium sized bowl. mix until crumbly.
  • press 2/3 of the mix across the base of the tin and a little up the side of the tin.just enough to hold the nutella inches.
  • spread the nutella across the base. if the nutella is a bit hard, warm it in the microwave.
  • sprinkle the rest of the crumbs over the top of the nutella.
  • cook for approximately 30 minutes or until top is golden.
  • cool completely.
  • sprinkle with icing sugar to serve.

My brother and I love digestives and Nutella (who doesn't?:)). As kids messing about in the kitchen one day, we came up with this 'recipe'. It's not really a recipe I know, but it is most certainly yummy! I like to mix the Nutella into the digestives but feel free to eat it how you like. I sometimes even add a little bit of salt to the digestive mixture or even cinnamon. A quick and easy treat that goes well with a hot cup of tea :)

3 digestive biscuits
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons nutella

Steps:

  • Crush the digestive biscuits in a small bowl until no large bits are left.
  • Add the butter to the crushed digestives and nuke in the microwave until melted, about a minute.
  • Once melted mix the butter in with the crushed digestives until completely moistened.
  • Put the dollop of nutella on top of the butter digestive mixture and enjoy!
