Steps:

• Preheat oven to 375° F.
• Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
• Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

MINI MORSEL MERINGUE COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 300°F Grease baking sheets.
• Beat egg whites, salt and cream of tartar in small mixer bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in morsels 1/3 cup at a time.
• Drop by level tablespoon onto prepared baking sheets.
• Bake for 20-25 minutes or until meringues are dry and crisp. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Store in airtight containers.

MINI MORSEL CHOCOLATE CHIP POUND CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Grease and flour a 10 inches tube/bundt pan or 1-2 loaf pans.
• In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.set aside.
• In mixer, beat the sugar and butter until creamy, then add the vanilla.
• Beat in eggs, one at a time, until each one is incorporated.
• Gradually mix in the flour mixture, alternating with milk.
• Stir in the chocolate chips.
• Pour into floured pan/pans.
• Bake 70-80 minute or until toothpick, when inserted, comes out clean.
• Cool 10 min., loosen sides and invert onto cake plate, cover with lid until cake is room temperature. (this will make for a moist cake). When there is no more moisture on top of cake, dust it with the confectioner sugar.

Steps:

• Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture.

• FOR PAN COOKIE VARIATION: Prepare dough as above. Spread into greased 15x10-inch jelly roll pan. Bake in preheated 375F oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Makes 4 dozen bars.
• FOR HIGH ALTITUDES (5200 feet): Increase flour to 2 1/2 cups. Add 2 teaspoons water with the flour and reduce both granulated sugar and brown sugar to 2/3 cup each. Bake at 375°F Bake drop cookies for 8-10 minutes and pan cookies for 17-19 minutes.

Steps:

• For topping, combine brown sugar, melted butter, and flour. Stir in nuts and 1/2 cup chips. Combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt. Set aside. Beat butter, sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in remaining chocolate chips. Spoon into greased or paper lined muffin cups, filling about half full. Sprinkle evenly with topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
