MORAVIAN SLAW
Steps:
- Trim cabbage and rinse with cold water. Place in mixing bowl. Add onion, bell pepper. Add pimento and pickled relish, and season with salt.
- Mix together water and vinegar. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Add to cabbage and mix well. Pat down and marinate overnight in refrigerator.
ASIAN COLE SLAW

- For the dressing: Whisk the vegetable oil, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, soy sauce and sugar in a medium bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- For the salad: Mix the onions, cabbage, jalapeno and green pepper in a large bowl. Toss the salad with enough of the dressing to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. The salad can be made 3 hours ahead, covered and chilled. When ready to serve, mix in the cilantro and garnish with the peanuts on top.

- 1. Combine the water, vinegar and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Set aside to cool. When cool, pour over the remaining ingredients. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
COLLARD AND RED CABBAGE SLAW
If you want a change up from regular 'ole slaw, then this is the recipe for you. I love using collard greens whenever I can and this slaw is the perfect vehicle for it. You can serve it right away or you know my motto-the longer it sits, the better it gets.

Steps:
- For the dressing: Mix together the mayonnaise, mustard, honey, vinegar, Miss Brown's House Seasoning, celery seeds and garlic in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- For the slaw: Combine the collards, cabbage and onion in a large serving bowl. Add the dressing and toss to coat well. Serve immediately.
- Stir together the garlic and onion powders, paprika, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Store in an airtight container.
FAT DADDY'S FANCY SLAW
Steps:
- Combine the vinegar, lemon juice and zest, if using, in a large mixing bowl. Cut the apple into a very small dice (brunoise) and immediately add it to the bowl to avoid browning. Add the mayonnaise, blue cheese, mustard, thyme, black pepper and sea salt to the bowl, and mix thoroughly. Set aside.
- Combine the carrots, green cabbage and red cabbage in a separate large bowl.
- Dress the cabbage mixture with the mayonnaise dressing until evenly coated, but not drowning in dressing.
