Marshmallow Star Shaped Cereal Treats Food

CHOCOLATE CHIP MARSHMALLOW CEREAL BARS

Steps:

• Line a 9-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, leaving a 1-inch overhang on each end to lift the finished treats out of the pan; lightly coat with cooking spray.
• Put the marshmallows and butter in a large pot set over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until the mixture is melted and smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Add the cereal and continue to stir until well coated. Stir in the chocolate chips.
• Scrape the mixture into the prepared pan. Firmly press with your hands (coat them with some cooking spray to keep them from sticking) until evenly packed in the pan. Set aside until cooled. Using the foil overhang, lift the treats out of the pan and cut into bars.

MARSHMALLOW STAR-SHAPED CEREAL TREATS

Steps:

• Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan; lightly grease foil.
• Microwave butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec. or until melted. Add marshmallows; toss to coat. Microwave 1-1/2 min. or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 45 sec. Add cereal; mix well.
• Press cereal mixture onto bottom of prepared pan. Cool completely.
• Use foil handles to remove cereal mixture from pan; cut into star shapes with large star-shaped cookie cutter. Insert wooden pop stick into side of each star. Decorate with gels and sprinkles.

MONSTER MARSHMALLOW CRISPY TREATS

Steps:

• Melt butter in large saucepan on low heat. Add large marshmallows; cook and stir 10 min. or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat.
• Stir in cereal. Press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Cool.
• Mix frosting and food coloring. Cut cereal mixture into 24 bars; spread with frosting. Decorate with remaining ingredients as desired to resemble monster faces.

MARSHMALLOW TREATS

Steps:

• Melt butter in large sauce pan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and well-blended. Cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
• Add cereal. Stir until well coated.
• Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly and firmly in buttered 13 x 9 inch pan. Cut into 2 x 2 inch squares when cool.
