MARBLED COOKIES
Just simply delicious and very easy. You can substitute butterscotch chips or vanilla chips or white chocolate chips for the chocolate chips.

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a 9x13 inch pan with aluminum foil and grease the foil.
- In a small saucepan, over medium heat, combine the butter and sugar. Simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved. Line the prepared pan with the saltine crackers. Pour the hot sugar mixture evenly over the crackers.
- Bake for 5 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from the oven and quickly sprinkle the chocolate chips over the sugar layer. Return to the oven for just one minute. Then use a spatula to smooth out the melted chocolate chips. Sprinkle the nuts over the chocolate layer. Refrigerate overnight then remove from the foil and break into small pieces.

- Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Pour into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. - In a large bowl cream together the butter and both sugars until fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
- Add in the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Split dough in half evenly and add the cocoa to half and combine.
- Add 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips to the plain dough and ¼ cup of the white chocolate chips to the chocolate dough.
- Divide each dough into 6 equal portions. Take a plain dough ball and a chocolate dough ball and twist them to form into a ball.
- Next press the remaining semisweet chips into the plain side and the remaining white chocolate chips into the chocolate side.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Bake the cookies for 18 minutes. Cool 5 minutes and then transfer to a rack. Serve & ENJOY!

- Heat oven to 350°F.
- By hand, mix together cake mix, oil, 3 T water, and egg.
- In a small bowl stir together fudge packet and 1 T water.
- Add approximately 1/4 of the light batter to the chocolate batter.
- Add chocolate chips to the light batter.
- Spoon dark batter over light batter. Marbleize slightly.
- Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets with a spoon.
- Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool 1 minutes on cookies sheet, then cool on a wire rack.
