Malted Hot Chocolate Mix Food

MALTED HOMEMADE HOT CHOCOLATE MIX RECIPE

Steps:

• Sift all ingredients (except the salt) into a large bowl. Add the salt and whisk all ingredients until thoroughly combined. Transfer to an airtight container and store until ready to use.
• To prepare, bring 1 cup of hot water or milk just to a simmer. Pour hot liquid into a mug and mix in ¼ cup Hot Chocolate Mix (or to taste).

MALTED HOT CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• In a medium saucepan, heat milk and vanilla over medium heat just until milk begins to steam, 5 to 6 minutes. Add chopped chocolate, and whisk until completely melted and combined.
• Pour malt powder into a warmed serving pitcher or another saucepan. Add hot chocolate mixture, whisking thoroughly until powder dissolves. Divide among four mugs; serve immediately.

HOT MALTED CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• In a large saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until bubbles form around sides of pan., Meanwhile, in a small bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add sugar; beat until soft peaks form., Whisk chocolate chips and milk powder into milk until chocolate is melted. Remove from the heat; whisk in vanilla. Pour into mugs. Spoon whipped cream over the top.

MALTED HOT CHOCOLATE MIX

Steps:

• In a large mixing bowl, sift together all the ingredients until evenly mixed. Store in an airtight container.
• To serve: place 2 to 3 Tablespoons of the cocoa mix in a 6-ounce mug. Add water. Stir to combine. Serve hot.

THE BEST CHOCOLATE MALTED

Steps:

• Warm Glossy Chocolate Sauce:
• In the top half of a double boiler, combine the 2 chocolates over simmering water. Stir constantly until melted, then whisk in the corn syrup and water. Whisk until smooth and shiny.
• Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

HOT CHOCOLATE MALTED

Steps:

• Mix all ingredients, except the last two optional ones, in a slow cooker.
• Heat on high for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
• Taste before serving. Depending on cocoa mix you might need to add more liquid. (Be sure to heat any additional liquid in the microwave before adding.).
• Ladle into cups & top with whipped cream/marshmallows if you wish.

• In saucepan, bring milk with sugar just to boil over medium-high heat, stirring often.
• Remove from heat.
• Whisk in malt powder and chopped chocolate until smooth.
• (Make-ahead: Let cool. Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 2 days; reheat.).

COUNTRY LIVING HOT CHOCOLATE MIX

Steps:

• Place all ingredients in a food processor fitted with a metal blade and process just until mixture is powdery -- about 30 seconds. Be careful not to overprocess.
• Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
• To make hot chocolate, combine 1 cup of milk and 2 tablespoons of the mix in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is incorporated and mixture is warmed through.
• Serve immediately.
