HEALTHY APPLE CAKE (LOW-FAT, LOW-SUGAR RECIPE)
This healthy apple cake is delicious and incredibly easy to make. And the extra bonus: a low-calorie, low-fat apple cake without butter, oil, or sugar.

Steps:
- Preparations: Preheat the oven to 350°F/ 180°C. Grease and flour the springform.
- Prepare apples: Peel and remove the cores. Cut the apples into small cubes. Set aside.
- Wet ingredients: Beat the eggs and the sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Dry ingredients: In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Carefully fold the flour into the egg mixture. Do not over mix.
- Batter: Fold the chopped apples into the batter. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Topping: Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle this mixture over the batter in the pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden. A toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake should come out clean.
- Rest the cake for 10-15 minutes, take it out of the tin and serve either warm or at room temperature (Note 2).

- Oven to 350°.
- Spray a square pan with nonstick spray, I used a glass pan.
- Combine first 5 ingredients in bowl.
- In another bowl, combine water, oil, lemon juice, vanilla.
- Add to dry ingredients, stir until just combined.
- Toss apples with sugar and cinnamon, fold into batter.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until done.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2 round cake pans with non-stick cooking spray and sprinkle with flour. Sift together all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. In a small bowl, mix applesauce, milk, vanilla, coffee, prunes, chocolate, almond extract and egg whites. Fold into the dry ingredients. Bake for 40 minutes.

- Mix all the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
- Add the banana, the pineapple juice, maple syrup and salt. Beat well to make a smooth batter.
- Add the vinegar and stir. It will begin to froth.
- Pour into an oiled pound loaf tin.
- Bake at 190 degrees (medium oven) for 20 minutes.
- Turn out onto a wire rack and leave to cool.
- Slice the cake lengthways and spread both halves with the yoghurt. Then top one half with the jam. Sandwich back together.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 8" round baking pan with cooking spray.
- Chop up your apples.
- Beat the eggs in a small bowl until fluffy.

- Adjust an oven rack to the middle position and heat the oven to 325 degrees. Lightly coat an 8-inch-square cake pan with vegetable oil spray.
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, spices, and salt together in a large bowl and set aside.
- Beat the brown sugar and butter together in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, 3 to 6 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until incorporated, scraping down the bowl and beaters as needed.

EXTREME LOW-FAT CHOCOLATE CAKE
This cake is almost fat-free, if you are in need of a chocolate fix and watching your fat intake then this might be what you are looking for ;-) don't bother licking the spoon before baking as the yogurt makes it taste kind of tingly and weird, lol! - Spray an 8" springform pan with vegetable cooking spray.
