4 cups shredded cooked chicken breasts or 3/4 lb shredded cooked chicken breast
1 cup chopped tomatoes or 1 medium tomatoes
1/2 cup grated asiago cheese
1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil
6 (6 inch) pita bread, cut in half
3 cups mixed baby greens

Steps:

  • Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Stir in chicken, tomato, cheese, and basil.
  • Line each pita half with 1/4 cup greens.
  • Divide chicken mixture evenly among pita halves.

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut in strips
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
4 whole pita bread rounds, cut in half
8 whole romaine lettuce leaves
2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
bean sprouts

Steps:

  • n small bowl, combine chicken strips, teriyaki sauce and garlic.
  • Coat large nonstick skillet with cooking spray.
  • Heat over medium high heat until hot.
  • Add chicken mixture and cook 8 to 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink inside.
  • Remove from heat and keep warm.
  • Fill each pita half with lettuce, tomato, chicken and bean sprouts.

1 teaspoon minced garlic
