- Dip the chicken (one piece at a time) into the buttermilk and egg mixture, coating evenly. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture, coating evenly. Shake to remove any excess of the flour mixture.

- Combine soup mix and bread crumbs in a shallow dish. Add mayonnaise to another shallow dish. Place butter into foil lined pan and put in oven to melt. While butter is melting, toss chicken in mayonnaise mixture then press each breast into the onion/breadcrumb mixture. Place chicken into the hot melted buttered pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn chicken over and bake for 10 minutes more. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
