- With the bacon fat hot, add diced onions. Add the diced cabbage as you cut it. Size of your diced cabbage depends on your preference. Add red pepper flakes and stir and fry at high heat for about 7 minutes or until tender. Add ginger near the end of the fry to give a a little heat.
- Turn off heat then add the soy sauce and sesame oil. stir to mix well and serve hot.
- Makes a great side dish for sausages.

- Cook bacon in wok or large pot till crispy. Remove bacon and set aside. Remove all but 2 tbsp bacon grease. Add onion and stir fry 1-2 minutes. Stir in cabbage. Add water and soy sauce. Cover wok with lid and cook on medium high for 10 to 15 minutes stirring occasionally till cabbage is soft but not mushy. Stir in cooked egg noodles and bacon and additional soy sauce if preferred.
