SPICE CAKE - KRUID KOEK



Spice Cake - Kruid Koek image

A Dutch family favorite. Spread lightly with butter before serving with coffee. I'm not 100% sure what the yield of this recipe is.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 cups flour
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar or 1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon clove
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 cup milk

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Bake in small greased loaf pans at 375°F for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
