½ cup Irish cream liqueur (eg. Bailey's®)
½ cup vodka (eg. Smirnoff®)
1 (4 serving size) package instant chocolate pudding mix

Steps:

Whisk together the milk, Irish cream liqueur, vodka, and instant pudding mix in a bowl until combined. Continue whisking for 2 minutes.
Spoon the pudding mixture into shot glasses or disposable 'party shot' cups. Chill until set, about 30 minutes. The shots will have the consistency of mousse.

1 (3 ounce) package Jello gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup vodka

Steps:

Boil cup of water.
Empty jello powder into a large mixing bowl and add the boiling water.
Continue stirring for two minutes or until the jello is completely dissolved.
Add in the 1/2 cup of cold water and 1/2 cup of vodka.
Stir until mixed and pour into 2oz. cups filled 1/2 to 3/4 of the way.

1 (3.4 oz package) Jello Instant Chocolate Pudding
3/4 Cup 2% Milk
1/4 Cup Vodka
1/2 Cup Irish Cream Liqueur
8 ounces Extra Creamy Cool Whip

Steps:

Mix pudding and milk together in a bowl. Add alcohol and stir well. Fold in cool whip. Divide into plastic shot glasses and keep in the freezer. (The smallest size Dixie cups work great) Freeze for a few hours or more. Kahlua tastes great in place of the Irish Cream. For "Thin Mint Pudding Shots", use 1/4 Cup Irish Cream Liqueur and1/4 Cup Creme De Menthe Liqueur instead of just the 1/2 Cup of Irish Cream Liqueur. For "Raspbery Pudding Shots", use Vanilla Pudding instead of chocolate and substitute 1/2 Cup of Rasberry Schnapps for the 1/2 Cup of Irish Cream.

I found these pudding shots on the TOH board. I've made this many different times and I'm not allowed to attend the annual family reunion weekend without bringing these. I've switched out the irish cream liquor and used raspberry schnapps and cheesecake pudding, lemon schnapps and lemon pudding, rootbeer schnapps and vanilla pudding, plus many other combos. Any flavor combination that you can find a complimentary liquor for will work.

Small chocolate instant pudding
3/4 cup Kahlua
3/4 cup Coconut Rum
4 ounces Cool Whip (Extra Creamy preferred but not required)

Steps:

Whisk Kahlua and Instant Pudding together until thick (1 to 2 minutes). Once it has thickened, add Rum and whisk until all lumps and clumps are gone. Once the mixture is nice and smooth again, whisk in Cool Whip. Fill almost ¾ of a 1 ounce plastic shot cup with the mixture then cover and place in the freezer. It does take several hours to set. For BEST results, I let them set overnight. Use little ice cream tester spoons when serving them.

Mix together milk and pudding with an electric mixer until no lumps exist.
Beat in liquor.

I tried these last night at a Christmas party and just HAD to get the recipe before I left. Super easy and oh so delicious! They taste just like chocolate mousse. I'm not exactly sure how many shots this makes, it all depends on the size of plastic shot glasses/containers used. I'm making a batch tonight, just for fun, but I'm going to fill parfait glasses with it for a Christmas eve dessert (for the grown-ups). I will make it the same way for the kids, only a "virgin" alternative, replacing the booze with more milk. I hope you enjoy! *Note: If you've never heard of "Rum Chata", just google it. It's a rum liqueur. (The stupid ingredient list keeps posting it incorrectly). I've drank "Rum Chata", before as a sipper, but I've also been told that it's great as an alternative to creamer in your morning coffee for a quick "hang-over" cure.

1 cup rum, chata
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip Topping (thawed in fridge)

Steps:

Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl. Beat with a wire whisk or electric blender on low for 1 - 2 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes to soft-set.
Gently fold in whipped topping (that has been thawed in the fridge). Once fully incorporated, divide the mixture amongst plastic shot glasses, line them on a tray and place the tray in the freezer until ready to serve (they will not freeze solid because of the alcohol).
