Green Slime Pistachio Pudding Salad Food

GRILLED PLUM AND PISTACHIO SALAD

Steps:

• Preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat.
• In a large bowl, toss together the plums, 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Place the plum wedges on the hot grill pan and grill until nice grill marks have formed, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Remove to a plate to cool slightly.
• To the large bowl add the lettuce, basil, mint, white balsamic vinegar, remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil, and remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt. Using your hands, gently toss to coat the greens, being careful not to bruise the lettuce. Sprinkle the salad with the pistachios and gently place the plums on top. Sprinkle with the ricotta shavings and serve.

PISTACHIO PUDDING SALAD

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the pineapple and dry pistachio pudding mix.
• Fold in thawed whipped topping, marshmallows and optional nuts until well mixed.
• Refrigerate until chilled and serve.
• Cooking time is chill time.

WATERGATE SALAD (PISTACHIO PUDDING SALAD)

Steps:

• In a large bowl combine the pistachio pudding mix with crushed pineapple and the juice. Make sure that the pudding has dissolved.
• Fold in the marshmallows, and nuts.
• Finally, gently fold in the whipped topping.
• Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Garnish with maraschino cherries and crushed pecans or pistachios.

GREEN SLIME (PUDDING DELIGHT)

Steps:

• Crust - Mix Butter, Flour (and Nuts if using) spread on bottom of a 13x9 glass Baking dish bake at 350* for 15 minute Let Cool.
• Cream Cheese Layer.- Mix Cream Cheese, 10X sugar, and cool whip. Spread on top of crust (make sure crust has been cooled or the cream cheese mixture will melt and make the crust mooshy).
• Pudding Layer.- Mix pudding according to package. Combine both pudding's together before letting set. Once the pudding is set poor on top of Cream Cheese Layer.
• Top Layer.- Top it off with Cool Whip. (I also like to sprinkle the top with pistachio's or even substitute the crust with an Oreo Cookie Crust for Halloween then sprinkle the top with Oreos).

PISTACHIO PUDDING SALAD (AKA WATERGATE SALAD)

Steps:

• In a large bowl, add the pudding and well drained crushed pineapple; mix well.
• Stir in the food coloring; mix it in thoroughly.
• Fold in the Cool Whip; be sure to blend it in thoroughly.
• Stir in the marshmallows, and then the walnuts.
• Cover the bowl, and chill in the refrigerator for a while, until ready to serve.
• *Note: I usually make this salad the night/day before I'm going to serve it; this way it chills up nicely in the fridge. Also, I did use one (3.4 oz.) box of instant pudding mix for this recipe. I see Recipezaar would not let me post the exact ounces of pudding I used, when posting this recipe.

PISTACHIO MALLOW SALAD

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine whipped topping, pudding mix and food coloring if desired. Fold in the marshmallows and pineapple. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Just before serving, top with additional whipped topping if desired, sprinkle with nuts.
