- RATATOUILLE. Thanks to the famous animation movie, one of the most famous French dishes is Ratatouille. The dish actually was a staple for country folk.
- SOUPE AU PISTOU. Nice is also known for its basil – which is one of the main ingredients of Pistou soup. Nice is also very close to Genova which is also famous for its basil and pesto.
- FOUGASSE. Fougasse is actually a type of bread, not a dish. However, it is a traditional food in the Provence region and should not be missed! Typically, the dough is shaped into the lattice, it can be a leaf or a wheat stalk.
- SALAD NIÇOISE. The salad Nice is another very famous dish from Nice! Even though the ingredients seem quite different from each other, the whole mixture of them creates a unique balance.
- SOCCA. Obviously, Socca is not the best-looking food in Provence. However, it might be your favorite street food if you visit Nice. Socca is a pancake-like dish, which uses chickpea as the main ingredient.

- Nice. Welcome to the Riviera! Your seven-day adventure starts in Nice, arguably the region's most beautiful major city and home to numerous cultural and historic treasures.
- Monaco and Menton. Day two is already here! It's time to take advantage of Nice's proximity to other beautiful spots on the eastern Riviera. Begin your day by heading the independent principality of Monaco, famed for its glamorous port, casino, gardens, and royal family.
- Peillon and Eze. On day three, you'll move inland to see two of the Riviera's stunning villages perchés (perched villages)—towns both built into precipitous hills and cliffsides during the medieval period, and now prized for their local art, culture, and architecture.
- Cannes and Antibes. It's time to head back to the coast with an excursion to the city famous for its glamorous annual film festival and luxurious lifestyle: Cannes.
- St-Tropez. Day five brings you to another of the Riviera's most-famous waterfronts, and the sandy, wide beaches of St-Tropez. Long associated with sunbathing and tanning, it's still a prized destination by travelers even though many will now sit under umbrellas and slather on plenty of sunscreen.

- Plage de la Salis. WHERE: Antibes. One of the coastline’s more glamorous addresses, Antibes is lined with beaches both public and private. The Plage de la Salis has golden sands (don’t dig too deep as there are pebbles underneath) and stunning views of the old town, mountains, and the Garoupe lighthouse.
- Plage de la Garoupe. WHERE: Cap d’Antibes. A long, sandy beach on a sparkling bay favored by sailboats, Plage de la Garoupe is one of the loveliest in Cap d-Antibes.
- Port de Crouton Plage. WHERE: Juan-les-Pins. On the west side of Cap d’Antibes lies the charming village of Juan-les-Pins, well-known as the 1920s home of writer F. Scott Fitzgerald, his wife Zelda, and their daughter Scottie (their actual house is now the five-star Belles Rives Hotel).
- The Calanques. WHERE: Cassis. Like tiny pockets of paradise, more than a dozen azure blue Calanques can be found tucked away in the rocky cliffs between Marseille and Cassis, a charming fishing village that’s now a favorite of European tourists.
- Plage des Marinières. WHERE: Villefranche-sur-Mer. A little ways east of Villefranche-sur-Mer city center, the Plage des Marinières curves around the bay for nearly a mile past the old town.
