Easy Hamburger Gravy Over Mashed Potatoes Food

HAMBURGER GRAVY OVER MASHED POTATOES

Steps:

• Brown ground round. Drain any grease. Add margarine and flour. Cook for a few minutes over medium heat. Add milk. Increase heat and cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the cayenne pepper.
• Serve over mashed potatoes.

HAMBURGER GRAVY

Steps:

• In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the soup, milk, mushrooms and bouillon. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes or until heated through, stirring occassionally. Serve over mashed potatoes.

HAMBURGER GRAVY WITH MASHED POTATOES

Steps:

• 1. In a large skillet w/ 2 tsp olive oil brown the hamburger and chopped onion. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir until ground meat is no longer pink and the onions are soft.
• 2. Stir in the flour and add the milk, stirring constantly until gravy starts to thicken. Add Kitchen Bouquet for color (opt) and if not as thick as you would like stir 4-tbls flour into a cup of hot water and stir until flour absorbed. Then slowly add to your gravy as much as you need. Be careful of adding too much because then you will need to add more milk! Salt and pepper again if needed.
• 3. Serve over your mashed potatoes. My family likes this served with green beans. Enjoy!

EASY HAMBURGER GRAVY WITH CABBAGE

Steps:

• In a large saucepan, cook beef and onion until cooked and onion is tender. Drain.
• Add cabbage; cook and stir for 2 minute
• Sprinkle with flour, salt and paprika; mix well.
• Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 minute
• Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-12 minute or until the cabbage is tender.
• Serve over prepared hot mashed potatoes.

HAMBURGER GRAVY

Steps:

• Brown meat with onions in large skillet; drain.
• Stir in gravy and water; cook on medium heat 2 to 3 min. or until heated through.

BEEF 'N' GRAVY ON POTATOES

Steps:

• Place potatoes and water in a microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 8-10 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in garlic powder and onion powder., Prepare gravy according to package directions. Place the potatoes in a large bowl; add the milk, butter, salt and pepper. Beat on medium speed until smooth. Serve beef and gravy over mashed potatoes.

EASY HAMBURGER GRAVY OVER MASHED POTATOES

Steps:

• 1. Brown ground beef and onion then drain off grease.
• 2. Mix gravy with ground beef & onions and simmer for five more minutes.
• 3. Serve over mashed potatoes.

DAD'S HAMBURGER GRAVY

Steps:

• Crumble the ground beef into a large deep skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Drain most of the grease, leaving just enough to coat the pan. Add the onions, and cook for a few more minutes.
• Pour 4 cups of the milk into the pan, and stir to scrape up any bits of food that could burn on the bottom of the pan. Mix in the bouillon, butter, sage, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
• Mix the flour into the last cup of milk until smooth. Slowly pour into the skillet, stirring constantly. Simmer for a few minutes to thicken. If the gravy is too thick, thin with a little bit of milk. If it is too thin, simmer longer, or add more flour. Taste and adjust seasonings before serving.

HAMBURGER GRAVY

Steps:

• Place hamburger in a large, deep skillet. Crumble and cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Remove from heat and sprinkle flour over cooked hamburger. Stir until evenly coated and all fat is absorbed.
• Place skillet over medium heat, add 1/2 of milk and stir until gravy begins to thicken. Add remaining milk until desired consistency has been reached and gravy comes to a boil. Season with salt, pepper and onion salt.
• Serve over mashed or boiled potatoes, toast or biscuits. Add fresh chopped onion if desired.

HAMBURGER GRAVY

Steps:

• In large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium-high heat until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently.
• Stir in flour, bouillon and steak sauce. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir 4 to 6 minutes or until mixture boils and thickens, stirring frequently. If desired, serve over mashed potatoes or cooked rice.
