2-STEP HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN



2-Step Honey Mustard Chicken image

One of our favourite chicken recipes, this dish combines chicken, honey mustard, and honey for an excellent meal.

Yield 4

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 tbsp 15 mL canola oil
4 small boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 can (284 mL) CAMPBELL'S® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
1/4 cup 60 mL water
2 tbsp 30 mL honey
2 tbsp 30 mL grainy, Dijon-style mustard (or 1 tbsp/15 mL regular Dijon mustard)
2 tbsp 30 mL chopped fresh chives, optional

Steps:

  • In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high.Brown chicken breasts 3-4 minutes per side.
  • In a small bowl, combine soup, water, honey, and mustard.Add to skillet with chicken; bring to simmer. Reduce heat, cover and simmer gently for 8-10 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.Serve garnished with chives, if desired.

EASY and only 4 ingredients! I was messin around with ingredients in my kitchen last night and BAM! One of the easiest and quick chicken recipes EVER. No need for all those ingredients you dont have in the cabinets.

4 boneless chicken breasts
1/4 cup mustard
3 tablespoons honey
1 (1 g) packet Sweet 'n Low

Steps:

  • Wash and pat dry Chicken Breasts.
  • Mix~ mustard, honey and sweet n low packet in a measuring cup.
  • Poke Chicken breasts with fork to make holes for absorption of liquid mixture.
  • Cover Chicken with half of Mustard mixture
  • Pour remaining Mustard mixture into a regular skillet.
  • Place chicken in skillet on med heat and cover.
  • Flip chicken after 10 minutes then re-cover and cook for another 10 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
  • DONE and OH MY HEAVENS ~ The whole family loved it !

I got this recipe out of a Campbell's soup cookbook. It was very quick and easy to make. Serve it over rice or mashed potatoes to soak up all the sauce!

1 tablespoon butter
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
toasted walnuts (optional) or pecans (optional)

Steps:

  • Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken for 10 minutes or until browned.
  • Remove chicken and set aside.
  • Add soup, mayonnaise, honey, and mustard, and stir. Heat to boiling.
  • Add chicken and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
  • Top with toasted walnuts or pecans if desired.

4 (about 1 lb/500 g) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 tbsp 15 mL oil
1 can (10 oz/284 ml) CAMPBELL'S® Condensed Low Fat Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 cup 125 mL water
3 tbsp 45 mL Dijon-style mustard
1 tbsp 15 mL honey

Steps:

  • Brown 4 chicken breast halves in 1 tbsp (15 ml) hot oil, in skillet.
  • Add 1 can of soup mixed with 1/2 cup (125 ml) water, 3 tbsp (45 ml) Dijon-style mustard and 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey. Cover and simmer until chicken is cooked through.

3/4 cup Dijon honey mustard salad dressing
1/3 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup half-and-half cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (6 ounces each)
3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1/2 pound medium fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
1 large sweet onion, halved and thinly sliced

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients; set aside. Place flour in a shallow bowl. Add chicken, a few pieces at a time, and toss to coat; shake off excess. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons oil over medium-high heat. Brown chicken on both sides. Remove from pan. Add mushrooms and onion to same pan; cook and stir until tender, 6-8 minutes., Add dressing mixture, stirring to loosen browned bits from pan. Return chicken to pan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until a thermometer inserted in chicken reads 165°, 12-15 minutes longer.

My family loves this chicken recipe. This is my version of Outback steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken.

1/2 cup Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
1/2 cup honey
1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup sliced mushrooms, sauteed in
butter
salt and pepper
8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Prepare marinade in small bowl and then cover chicken and refrigerate for 2 hours. Save small amount for basting.
  • Preheat oven to 375. In saute pan heat oil and then add breasts to sear on both sides cooking about 4 to 5 mnutes on each side.
  • Move to shallow baking dish.
  • Top chicken with saved marinade for basting then top with mushrooms, bacon and then cheese.
  • Place in oven and bake until cheese is melted and bubbling about 7 minutes.

Has to be my signature dish. Everyone loves it. I must admit though, that I got the honey mustard recipe from my hero Alton Brown! Oh well, this is my most requested dish for pot lucks and meals for people at church. Adjust it if you need to for more servings. I've got to where I just eyeball the measurements for the honey mustard and it still turns out great. Hope you enjoy!

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
5 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons creamy Dijon mustard (not the grainy kind)
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • I like to brown the chicken first, but it's not necessary. I like the color.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Make the dressing.
  • Whisk the 3 ingredients for the honey mustard together.
  • Add the nuts.
  • Place chicken in a shallow baking dish and cover with honey mustard dressing.
  • Bake at 350°F for about an hour or until chicken is done all the way through.
