Dream Whip Frosting Food

DREAM WHIP BUTTER FROSTING

Steps:

• Combine 1/3 cup milk, vanilla, and Dream Whip in large bowl.
• Add half of sugar; blend well. Whip rapidly until thickened-about 2 minutes.
• At medium speed alternately add remaining sugar and milk; beat after each addition.
• Add butter, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating well.
• Makes 2 3/4 cups, enough for 8- or 9-inch layer cake or 24 cupcakes.
• LEMON OR ORANGE BUTTER FROSTING.
• Prepare as above; omit vanilla and substitute 2 tablespoons lemon or orange juice for the 2 tablespoons milk. Add 1 teaspoon grated lemon or orange rind after beating in butter.

DREAM WHIP FROSTING

Steps:

• Beat all ingredients until moistened.
• Beat frosting on high 4-5 minutes until soft peaks form.
• Frost cooled dream whip cake.
• Refrigerate leftovers.

WHIPPED CREAM FROSTING

Steps:

• Place a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer in the freezer until cold, about 5 minutes. Alternatively, fill the bowl with ice water and let stand for 5 minutes. Pour out the ice water and quickly wipe the bowl dry.
• Sift the sugar and powdered milk into the chilled bowl, then add the cold cream and vanilla. Whip the mixture on high speed until stiff, but smooth peaks form, about 2 minutes. If you accidentally overwhip, the peaks will look like they are cracking. Add about a tablespoon more heavy cream and hand whip the frosting until it smooths out.
• The recipe makes enough frosting to generously top 24 cupcakes or to cover two 8-inch-round cakes, plus extra to pipe decorations. Unrefrigerated, the frosting will hold its shape for up to 6 hours.

FOOD PROCESSOR CHOCOLATE WHIPPED CREAM FROSTING

Steps:

• To make in a food processor: Place heavy whipping cream, pure vanilla extract, granulated white sugar and cocoa powder in food processor with whip attachment and turn on high for approximately 3 minutes or until stiff peaks form. Use immediately.
• To make with an electric mixer: Place heavy whipping cream, pure vanilla extract, granulated white sugar, and cocoa powder into a large bowl, and stir to combine ingredients. Cover and chill bowl and beaters for at least 30 minutes. When chilled, beat until stiff peaks form. Use immediately.

HOMEMADE WHIPPED TOPPING SUBSTITUTE; OR DREAM WHIP

Steps:

• if kitchen is warm, prechill a deep, narrow bowl and beaters.
• combine above ingredients in chilled bowl.
• beat with handmixer until thick and peaks form.
• add 3 tbsp white sugar and 1 tsp vanilla.
• beat again.

COOL WHIP CREAM FROSTING

Steps:

• mix all ingredients until blended.
• whip welll.
• spread on your choice of cake.

QUICK FLUFFY FROSTING

Steps:

• Beat milk, whipped topping mix and pudding mix in deep narrow-bottom bowl with mixer on low speed until blended.
• Beat on high 4 to 6 min. or until mixture forms soft peaks.

DREAM WHIP CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Spray 2 9-inch round cake pans with floured cooking spray.
• Beat cake mix, Dream Whip, eggs, and water on low speed until moist, then on medium speed for 4 minutes. Pour mixture into pans.
• Bake for 30 minutes. Cool Completely.
• Frost with Fluffy Frosting.
• Frosting:.
• Beat ingredients with electric mixer in a large bowl on a low speed until blended.
• Beat on high speed for 4-6 minutes, until soft peaks form.

PISTACHIO DREAM CAKE

Steps:

• Blend all ingredients for cake in large bowl, and then beat for 2 minutes at medium speed. Bake in greased and floured 10" bundt pan at 350°F for 59 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes in pan then remove from pan let cool on rack.
• Split cake into 3 layers and spread 1/2 cup frosting between layers. Spoon rest onto top of cake and decorate with come crushed walnuts.
• Frosting: Whip cold milk, Dream Whip, and pistachio instant pudding. Mix until thick, about five minutes. Frost and refrigerate cake.
