5-Minute Healthy Greek Frozen Yogurt image

Who says dessert can't be healthy? Blend your way to the ultimate recipe for 5-Minute Healthy Greek Frozen Yogurt!

Number Of Ingredients 4

Ingredients

4 cups frozen fruit
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 Tablespoons honey

Steps:

In the bowl of a food processor, combine the frozen fruit, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract and honey. Process the mixture until it is creamy, about 5 minutes. (See Kelly's Notes.)
Serve the frozen yogurt immediately or transfer it to an airtight container and freeze it until ready to serve.

Celebrate World Nutella® Day and National Frozen Yogurt Day with this easy-to-make treat.

Number Of Ingredients 6

Ingredients

Large handful of hazelnuts
1 cup plain yogurt (low-fat is fine, avoid non-fat)
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 cup Nutella®
½ cup superfine sugar
¼ cup miniature chocolate chips

Steps:

Remove skins from hazelnuts. Toast nuts in a non-stick pan until lightly browned. Set aside to cool.
Combine yogurts, sugar, and Nutella® in a blender and process until smooth. Or combine using a wire whip.
Chill in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
Chop nuts.
Make frozen yogurt following your ice cream maker directions. Add nuts and chocolate chips during the final 5 minutes. This step took about 30 minutes using my Cuisinart® ice cream maker.
