LEMON TURMERIC GRILLED CHICKEN RECIPE
Lemon Turmeric Grilled Chicken is a healthy and flavorful chicken that you can grill up for your family. It is a new twist on lemon chicken.

Steps:
- In a bowl add the juice of 1 whole lemon along with the garlic, turmeric, and lemon pepper.
- Whisk it all together and pour it into a Ziploc bag.
- Add the chicken breasts and put the bag in the fridge and let the chicken marinade for at least 30 minutes.
- Take the chicken out the marinade and put them on a hot grill.
- Cook the chicken till it is done, about 25 minutes.
- Serve the chicken out and ENJOY!

DETOX LEMON GARLIC CHICKEN WITH TURMERIC
This is not a trendy "clean eating dish", it will actually help cleanse you from the inside-out! Not to mention the flavors are so delicious and satisfying.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a small bowl whisk together avocado oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, garlic, turmeric, cumin, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the turmeric marinade over the chicken and allow to sit for a minimum of 1 hour. (If marinating for longer, cover and place in the refrigerator. Before cooking, allow the chicken to come back to room temperature.)
- Place chicken in a cast iron skillet (or an oven safe pan) along with the wedges of onion, lemon slices, and extra rosemary sprigs.
- Pour about half of the marinade over the chicken and onions.
- Place chicken in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. (About halfway through the cook time, I like to spoon some of the marinade from the pan over the chicken to baste it a bit and to keep it moist.)

Great lemon flavored chicken recipe. Serve with the onions for more flavor. A bit tart and very tender. 8 hours is marinade time.

Steps:
- Combine lemon juice, turmeric, garlic and onion in a large bowl.
- Add chicken, turning to coat with marinade.
- Marinade in fridge for 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally of marinade doesn't cover chicken.
- Remove chicken from marinade.
- Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
- Grill or broil chicken and onions until done, turning once.
- Serve topped with onions.
LEMON GARLIC CHICKEN
I got this recipe from a recipe card many years ago and have enjoyed it ever since. It is simple, reasonably quick to make,low fat and tasty. You may substitute apple juice for the wine.

- In a shallow glass dish mix the marinade: lemon juice, wine, half the oil,garlic, honey, oregano, salt& pepper.
- Add chicken to the marinade, turning to coat.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In a large skillet heat remaining oil over med.
- /highheat until hot but not smoking.
- Add chicken to skillet (discard the marinade).
- Cook turning once until cooked through (about 20 minutes).
- Place chicken on a serving platter, garnish with lemon slices and fresh oregano.
- Serve.
