This snack mix is so addictive, it's known as 'Christmas Crack' among my circle of friends and family! You can choose a holiday mix of M&M's® to make these extra festive!

Time 50m

Yield 24

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 (20 ounce) package miniature pretzels
1 (17.5 ounce) package crispy corn cereal squares (such as Corn Chex®)
1 (16 ounce) jar salted dry-roasted peanuts
1 (14 ounce) package candy-coated milk chocolate pieces (such as M&M's®)
24 ounces white chocolate, chopped

Steps:

  • Cover a large area of counter space with waxed paper and tape it down.
  • Mix pretzels, corn cereal squares, peanuts, and candy-coated milk chocolate pieces together in a large bowl.
  • Melt white chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. Pour melted white chocolate over pretzel mixture; stir to evenly coat. Quickly transfer mixture to the prepared waxed paper and spread in a thin layer; cool completely. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.

DEER COOKIES

Deer Cookies image

Provided by Fake Bake

Categories     dessert

Time 30m

Yield 10 cookies

Number Of Ingredients 6

5 ounces white chocolate, melted
1 ounce dark chocolate, melted
10 triangle-shaped shortbread cookies, such as Petticoat Tails
20 pretzel twists
10 chocolate chips
20 mini chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Stir together the white chocolate and dark chocolate in a large bowl until completely combined. Dip the front surface of a cookie into the melted chocolate mixture. Hold the dipped cookie over the bowl so the excess runs off into the bowl. Place the cookie on the parchment paper with the triangle pointing down. Add two whole pretzel twists to each upper side of the cookie to create the deer's antlers. Add two mini chocolate chips just below each pretzel for eyes, and one chocolate chip at each triangle point for a nose. Repeat with the remaining cookies and chocolate coating. Allow the cookies to stand until set, about 20 minutes.
