DEEP FRIED SALMON CHIPS
A very great and tasty way to cook salmon:) I love making this anytime I get my hands on salmon:) I am sure you will all enjoy it as well:)

Steps:
- First fillet salmon, and then skin salmon very carefully, with a sharp fillet knife, trim salmon, with no bones attached.
- When fillet is done, slice salmon into thin strip width lenght not tail to head length.
- Mix all dry ingredients togther.
- mix all eggs into a bowl, scramble
- take strips of salmon, dip into the flour mixture first then into the egg wash and then back into the flour mixture.
- then carefully use a home deep fryer and cook until golden brown color, serve with homemade fries and lemons.
- various dry herbs can be used to your liking, this is just a beginning of what you can use for the flour mixtures.

BATTERED SALMON AND CHIPS RECIPE
This recipe for battered salmon and chips will soon be a family favourite. We've given the timeless dish a makeover, using fresh salmon.

Steps:
- Mix together the flour, baking powder and sea salt. Whisk in the beer or lager until you have a smooth thick batter. Place in the fridge until needed.
- Bring a pan of water to the boil and cook the potato batons for 10 mins. Drain and leave to dry off.
- In a saucepan or deep fat fryer, heat the oil. Drop in a little batter to test if it's ready. Fry the chips until golden and crispy, then remove using a slotted spoon if you don't have a frying basket. You may need to do this in batches.
- Dip the salmon into the batter, ensuring it's all coated, and then place carefully into the hot oil. Fry until the batter is golden and cooked- the salmon should be cooked through too. You can test with a meat thermometer, but it doesn't matter if the salmon is a little translucent inside.
- Serve with the salt and vinegar, a wedge of lemon and some garden peas, if liked.

Steps:
- Cut each fillet into 3 pieces and dry on paper towels.
- Heat the fat until the end of a wooden spoon bubbles, about 375*.
- Mix flour with salt and pepper in a flat dish.
- Mix egg and water in a bowl.
- Dredge cod pieces on all sides and shake off excess flour.
- Dip dredged pieces into egg wash and shake off excess egg.
- Dip into flour once again and shake off excess flour.
- Fry in hot fat until the pieces are nicely browned.Don't crowd the pan. Depending on the thickness of the fish it could take 2 to 5 minutes. Try to turn no more than once.
- Drain on paper towels and serve with a lemon wedge, Recipe #406770 and fries.
