CROCK POT APPLE COFFEE CAKE
This Crock Pot Apple Coffee Cake is perfect for breakfast, bunch or dessert!

Steps:
- Take one tablespoon of your softened butter and spread all around the bottom and sides of your crock pot
- In a bowl, mix together your apple pie filling, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Take 1/2 of your apple mixture and spread across the bottom of your crock pot
- In a different bowl, mix together your dry cake mix, eggs, sour cream, evaporated milk, 4 tablespoons of butter and the rest of your cinnamon very well
- Take 1/2 of your batter and gently spread over your apple mixture
- Repeat your layers
- Cut together your remaining butter and brown sugar and sprinkle on top
- If you want pecans, sprinkle those on top of everything
- Place 2-4 paper towels under your lid, cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours until cake is done in the middle
- Periodically check your paper towels to make sure they are not dipping down into the cake and remove moisture from your lid.
- Serve warm with whipped cream

- Spray crock pot with non stick cooking spray or butter generously. In a mixing bowl, combine apple mixture. Spread 1/2 of apple mixture on the bottom of crock pot. In another mixing bowl, mix cake batter ingredients well. Spread 1/2 of the cake batter on top of the apple mixture. Then, top with remaining apple mixture and finish with remaining better. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours. When baked, turn off crock pot and let cake cool with lid ajar for 20 minutes. To serve, invert cake onto a serving plate. Retrieve any apple left on the cake and spoon on top.
CROCK POT APPLE PIE
Probably more cobbler than pie, but whatever it is.....it is AMAZING. I love making this when we have company, because it makes the house smell wonderful. It is a great dessert at the Holidays, because it doesn't take up oven space when you have so many other things to cook. It is great with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Beat eggs and banana together in a bowl until smooth. Add cake mix and apple pie filling to eggs; beat until batter is combined. Pour batter into prepared baking dish.
- Stir brown sugar, coconut, pecans, and cinnamon together in a bowl; sprinkle over batter in the baking dish. Swirl coconut mixture into batter using a knife or toothpick.

- Combine ingredients for apple mixture in a small bowl.
- Combine batter ingredients; mix well.
- Generously butter the sides and bottom of a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker/crock pot.
- Spread about half the apple mixture in the bottom of the pot. Spoon 1/2 the batter over the apple mixture. Spoon the remaining apple mixture over the batter, then cover with remaining batter.
- Cover and cook on high for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Turn heat off, leave cover ajar slightly, and cool for about 15 minutes.

- Remove core from the apples, cut in large chunks 2",lay parchment paper on the bottom of your baking form ( I use 8 1/2 inch spring form).
- Lay the apples on top of parchment paper.
- Let eggs warm up for 10 minutes,then mix till light yellow and foamy; add sugar in, small portions at a time, let sugar dissolve; add flour; mix till you see air bubbles, pour mixture on the apples.
- It will soak throughout, do not mix apples with batter.
- Bake for 55 minutes on 375°F.
- When pie is done flip upside down, Apples will be on the top.
