1 package (3 ounces) orange gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup 2% milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
10 freezer pop molds or 10 paper cups (3 ounces each) and wooden pop sticks

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Cool to room temperature. Stir in the yogurt, milk and vanilla. Pour 1/4 cup into each mold or paper cup. Top molds with holders. If using cups, top with foil and insert sticks through foil. Freeze until firm.

I've used this recipe for years as a refreshing treat. My children enjoyed these pops more than any store-bought ones I ever brought home. They taste great with either pineapple or orange juice. Try freezing and serving in cups made from hollowed-out oranges. -Barbara Stewart, Garland, Texas

2 cups water
1-1/2 cups sugar
4 cups unsweetened apple juice
1 cup unsweetened pineapple or orange juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
12 freezer pop molds or 12 paper cups (3 ounces each) and wooden pop sticks

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine water and sugar; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3-4 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat; stir in juices., Fill molds or cups with 1/4 cup juice mixture. Top molds with holders. If using cups, top with foil and insert sticks through foil. Freeze until firm.,

4 cups orange juice, pulp free and not from concentrate
1/4 cup honey
1 cup 0-percent Greek yogurt
2 teaspoons orange zest (from about 1 large orange)
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Kosher salt

Steps:

  • Bring the orange juice and honey to a simmer in a wide saucepan, whisking occasionally, over medium-high heat. Cook until reduced to 2 cups, about 25 minutes. Let cool completely.
  • Add the orange-honey mixture, yogurt, orange zest, vanilla and a pinch of salt to a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into six 4-ounce pop molds. Freeze until set, at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • To serve, take a pop from the freezer, run it under warm water and unmold.

  • Combine blueberry pop ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into 5 of the pop molds. Repeat process with strawberry pop ingredients. Place in freezer for at least 5 hours or overnight.

1 fresh rosemary sprig
1 lemon zest strip (2 inch)
1 tablespoon lemon juice

2-1/4 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
10 freezer pop molds or 10 paper cups (3 ounces each) and wooden pop sticks

Steps:

  • For lemon syrup, place first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; let stand, covered, 10 minutes. Remove rosemary and lemon zest. Stir in lemon juice; cool completely., Place blueberries and sugar in another saucepan; cook and stir over medium heat until berries pop, 5-7 minutes. Cool completely., Add whipped topping to the lemon syrup, whisking to blend. Transfer half the mixture to a pastry bag. Pipe into molds. Layer with blueberries. Pipe the remaining whipped topping mixture over top. Close molds with holders. If using paper cups, top with foil and insert sticks through foil., Freeze until firm, about 4 hours. To serve, dip pop molds briefly in warm water before removing.
