1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons butter, softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon celery salt
4 tilapia fillets (6 ounces each)
4 lemon wedges

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mix the first 7 ingredients. Arrange fillets in a 15x10x1-in. baking pan coated with cooking spray. Spread cheese mixture over fish., Broil 4 in. from heat 4-5 minutes or until topping is lightly browned and fish flakes easily with a fork, rotating pan halfway for more even browning. Serve with lemon wedges.

½ cup Parmesan cheese
⅛ cup butter, softened
3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoon dried basil
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
⅛ teaspoon onion powder
⅛ teaspoon celery salt
2 pounds tilapia fillets

Steps:

  • Preheat oven broiler. Grease broiling pan or line with aluminum foil.
  • Mix Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, and lemon juice together in a small bowl. Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder, and celery salt. Mix well and set aside. Arrange fillets in a single layer on prepared pan.
  • Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip fillets over and broil for 2 or 3 minutes more. Remove fillets from oven and cover with Parmesan mixture on top side. Broil until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 2 minutes.

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup butter, softened
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste)
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon celery salt
salt (I use seasoned salt)
2 lbs tilapia fillets

Steps:

  • Set oven to broiler heat.
  • Grease a broiler pan, then line with foil and grease the foil slightly.
  • In a small bowl mix together Parmesan cheese, butter, mayo, lemon juice and garlic.
  • Add in all the remaining seasonings and salt if using; mix well and set aside.
  • Arrange the fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan (you sprinkle salt on fish but it is not necessary).
  • Broil a few inches from the heat for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Turn the fish over and broil a couple minutes more.
  • Remove from oven and cover them with the Parmesan mixture on the top side only.
  • Return to oven and broil for about 2 minutes more or until the topping is browned and the fish flakes easily (do not overcook the fish!).

1/4 cup margarine (softened, but not melted)
1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1/8 teaspoon onion powder

Steps:

  • Preheat broiler.
  • Combine all ingredients EXCEPT fish. Mix thoroughly. Set aside for flavors to meld.

1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter

garlic powder

Steps:

  • PREHEAT oven to broil

  • GREASE aluminum foil (to cover your baking pan).

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/8 cup softened margarine or 1/8 cup butter
3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon celery salt

Steps:

  • Preheat Broiler.
  • Place filets on foil lined broiler pan in a single layer.
  • Mix all existing ingredients together in bowl with whisk until well blended.
  • Broil filets a few inches from broiler for 2-3 minutes.
