This 3-ingredient baked brie recipe wraps a wheel of crowd-favorite brie cheese in Pillsbury™ Crescents for the easiest (and most delicious) party holiday appetizer. The combination of melty cheese and flaky pastry make baked brie with Crescent rolls an appetizer even picky eaters can't turn down.

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count) or 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet
1 round (8 oz) Brie cheese
1 egg, beaten

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • If using crescent rolls: Unroll dough; separate crosswise into 2 sections. Pat dough and firmly press perforations to seal, forming 2 squares. If using dough sheet: Unroll dough; cut crosswise into 2 rectangles. Pat dough to form 2 squares.
  • Place 1 square on ungreased cookie sheet. Place cheese on center of dough. With small cookie or canapé cutter, cut 1 shape from each corner of remaining square; set cutouts aside.
  • Place remaining square on top of cheese round. Press dough evenly around cheese; fold bottom edges over top edges. Gently stretch dough evenly around cheese; press to seal completely. Brush with beaten egg. Top with cutouts; brush with additional beaten egg.
  • Bake 20 to 24 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 15 minutes. Serve warm.

4 (4-ounce) beef fillet steaks
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
4 croissants
6 ounces Brie cheese, cut into 1/2-inch slices, at room temperature
2 cups arugula
1 cup (about 4 ounces) jarred roasted red bell peppers, thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Season the steaks with salt and pepper. In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Cook the steaks for about 5 minutes each side for medium-rare. Set aside for 5 minutes before slicing. Slice the steak, across the grain, into 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick slices.
  • Heat a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Using a serrated knife, slice the croissants in half lengthwise. In 2 batches, place the croissant halves, cut side down in the skillet and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute until lightly toasted. Lay the Brie slices over the toasted croissant halves. Place about 1/4 cup of the arugula on the bottom halves of the croissants. Add the sliced steak. Arrange the red bell pepper on top of the steak. Top with the remaining arugula and add the top of the croissant. Serve immediately.

6 small croissants
5 ounces wedge of brie, rind removed, cut into 1/4-inch slices
3 tablespoons Smucker's® Apricot Preserves
3 tablespoons glazed pecans*, chopped
3 teaspoons dark brown sugar
Crisco® Butter Flavor No-Stick Cooking Spray
Cinnamon sugar, if desired

Steps:

  • SLICE and lay the croissants open. Cover each croissant bottom with slices of brie to cover. Spread with 1/2 tablespoon preserves, sprinkle with 1/2 tablespoon chopped glazed pecans and 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar. Cover with top of croissant.
  • HEAT large skillet over medium heat. Spray sandwiches with no-stick cooking spray. Place sandwiches, sprayed side down, in heated skillet. Cover skillet and brown sandwiches 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Spray tops of sandwiches before turning to brown second side.
  • REMOVE sandwiches from skillet. Allow to rest covered, about 3 minutes. Cut diagonally, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, if desired, and serve warm.
  • *Glazed pecans can be found in the nut section of your grocer's snack aisle.

Steps:

  • Sorry to be so non-specific.
  • I just had this sandwich in a restaurant and posted a thread talking about it- several people asked me to post it as a recipe, so I'm kind of guessing here.
  • Split the baguette for a sandwich.
  • Slice the brie into medium thick slices and place a layer on each side of the open baguette.
  • Place in a 350 oven for a few minutes to warm the brie.
  • Top with apple slices, a little chutney or preserves and sprinkle toasted walnuts over.

  • Heat ½ a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan.Add the half the mushrooms and cook until browned. Push those mushrooms to one side of the pan then add the remaining mushrooms and cook until brown. Toss all the mushrooms together then add ½ a tablespoon of butter to the pan.Add the thyme leaves and a minced clove of garlic. Cook for a moment then toss the mushrooms. Season with ¼ teaspoon each of sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Set the mushrooms aside for now but keep them warm. I do this by popping a plate or a lid on the pan.
  • Using a bread knife cut the croissants lengthwise through the side of the croissants. Slice all the way through to separate the top from the bottom.Set the tops of the croissants aside for now.Spread about ½ a tablespoon on the flat side of each croissant. Then place the croissants on a large baking tray.Place a couple of slices of brie on top of the cranberry sauce on each croissant.Then divide the mushrooms between the four croissants.Place the tops of the croissants on top of the mushrooms then pop the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes.The cheese should be just melted and the croissants will be warm.Serve immediately with extra cranberry sauce if you wish.
