Blue Lemon Drop Martini Food

BLUE LEMON DROP MARTINI

Steps:

• Pre-chill martini glass in freezer. Rim glass with sugar, if desired. Pour into a martini shaker, the vodka, blue curacao and lemonade. Fill with 1 cup ice and shake until well chilled.
• Pour into chilled martini glass and garnish with lemon slice.

LEMON DROP

Steps:

• Put 1 martini glass in the fridge to chill. Mix the white caster sugar with the finely grated zest of the lemon, and set aside.
• Pour the vodka into a cocktail shaker and add the triple sec, lemon juice and a handful of ice. Shake really well until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
• Dip the rim of the chilled glass in water, shake off the excess then dip into the sugar and lemon zest mix.
• Strain the contents of the shaker into your prepared glass and enjoy.

MEYER LEMON DROP MARTINI

Steps:

• To make the simple syrup, combine 1 oz. water, 1 oz. sugar (measure in a cocktail jigger) and the lemon zest in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
• In a cocktail shaker, combine a handful of ice, the lemon juice, vodka and simple syrup. Shake vigorously and strain into 2 chilled martini glasses rimmed with sugar. Drop two thinly sliced lemon disks into each glass.

LEMON DROP MARTINI

Steps:

• Chill martini glasses in freezer for at least 10 minutes prior to serving.
• Place Vodka, Triple Sec, lemon juice and sugar into a cocktail shaker with 4-5 ice cubes and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
• Run the lemon twist around the edge of the chilled martini glass and dunk in a small amount of sugar for a coated rim.
• Pour the strained martini into the chilled glasses and serve.
