This spooky Halloween cocktail can be made virgin with sparkling apple cider, or use sparkling wine for an adult beverage. Choose your potion, then mix it in a pitcher with concord grape juice and lime juice. Pour into individual glasses and top with a generous scoop of raspberry sorbet.

Yield Makes 8

Number Of Ingredients 4

Ingredients

4 cups (32 ounces) Concord grape juice
750 ml sparkling white wine or apple cider
1/2 cup lime juice (from 4 limes)
1 pint raspberry sorbet

Steps:

In a large pitcher, combine grape juice, wine, and lime juice. Scoop sorbet into 8 small glasses and top with grape juice mixture. Serve immediately.

In a small bowl, stir together the corn syrup and 5 drops of red food coloring. Mix until incorporated. Add red food coloring until you get the desired color you want.
Add 1 or 2 drops of blue food coloring until you get that blood color we are all familiar with. Stir everything well and drizzle over the top. Try to get some down the sides, etc.
