Steps:
- Whisk mayonnaise, sour cream and buttermilk together in a medium bowl until combined.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice (if using), garlic powder, black pepper, salt and parsley (if using) and whisk until well combined.
- Add the blue cheese and vigorously whisk into the dressing to break down the blue cheese. Use the whisk to really break up the blue cheese if necessary. Stir in remaining blue cheese and transfer to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

I love blue cheese dressings and this one from the Seattle Times is very good. The cayenne adds an extra punch. I like my blue cheese dressing chunky, so I didn't bother blending this in the food processor.

- Transfer to a food processor or blender.

- In a mixing bowl, combine first 6 ingredients and blend 2 minutes at low speed. Add mayonnaise and blend 1/2 minute at low speed, then increase speed to medium and blend an additional 2 minutes. Slowly add bleu cheese and blend at low speed no longer than 4 minutes. Refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
